I think he means a hole in the metal ego skirt on the bottom. Makes the draw looser and it's a really common mod. If it was that I'd be pretty disappointed, he makes it sound more enticing than opening up the draw.

Yup, that's it.

Thanks for the feedback 1Kshooter!

And back OT ... Savu, very interested to hear how you like the modded stage 3 once you've tried it for a bit.

Will do, but I have never tried the stock version .. but I did order the Visions LED V3 which I hope is similar to the Stardust. On the website there is a link to a Mindfield video of how to mod the Visions however.

Order shipped on Thursday and I got it on Monday.

I've been doing JokeSmoke Classic at 24 strength which I think is just sublime - that silky smoothness and then a kick, a velvet hammer.

The modded V3 took only a bit of priming and extreme started right out of the package. The V3 I think seems to intensify the flavour and TH, whereas the extreme puts out more vapor consistently but I think its a little lighter.

Really loving this modded unit, not really even sure if I want to try the regular, maybe I will order the one from canvape next time to have something to compare to.

On a side note, there is something to be said for what the ego c does to flavour, in a good way. I notice that the JokeSmoke comes out of there with a real coolness and as long as the atty is up to it, with lots of vapour consistently. This coolness really works with JokeSmoke IMO.

Savu, thanks for the feedback on this! I had a really good experience with a Stardust a while back and am still trying to source some with a lower shipping cost (and from Canada would be nice too). I'll have to give these a try.

I also agree with your opinion on the eGo-C. Great performance when the atties are clean. I am though finding Stardusts and tank/carto combos better in the long run.

There's quite a few canadian vendors with the stardust, vaporgeek is the local one I use. If you request the software vendor list (here) you should be able to find a vendor in your province, possibly a brick n mortar shop (especially out east) close by (happyvaper has a warehouse in Ontario, pretty sure they have a front face shop too). I haven't looked at the other list request (here) but the software vendors tend to carry hardware too.

I'm using the Vision V3 rebuildables (long wick reg res) and they're just dandy. I ordered mine when I bought my ego-c, along with a dct and some other things, just to save money on shipping. Most shops offer "buy X$ get free shipping", probably beyond what you plan on paying if you're just looking for parts though.

Happy is at Dr. Fleas in Toronto on the weekends. Been there a couple times. little booth, but he has a ton of stuff available for purchase. Easiest way to get what you want though is to buy online and pickup.

Seeing as you're in Barrie, if you wanted a closer vendor, you could go to Canvapes booth in the 400 market. Not sure on hours though.

Been to canvapes at the 400 many times :) love those guys, mopar is a hoot and Kev is always super nice. Awesome deals too.

I like to spread the love around with Canadian vendors.. Glad to hear I can hit up hv in the city. Jack is an absolutely stellar guy, especially after a few wobblies ;)
