Rhino liner on the top would actually fix it....or a heavy duty clear tape. Rhino liner might be a little too thick. Just make sure theres no tears exposing the metal. Just the top....thats where the problem is.
Anything that will form a barrier between your atty and the metal of the box. But it should be durable.
I fixed it I put thick clear tape on it then flex sealed the top so it won't come loose

I think you should stay above .4 ohms.
Well I have found that I don't like any thing lower than .5 any way it gets to hot
By the way thanks asbestos fir the info and helping me stay safe I really love camping and like the box now I can keep both and not worry about blowing my self up
