I bought a joye 510 w/ PCC kit from cignot as well as 1 extended life battery and a red band atomizer (I thought it looked cool...). I made that decision after trolling these forums and google for several days and compared to my old store bought e-cig I could not be happier. the 510 totally blows my last e-cig out of the water but that's about all I can compare it to.

So far I haven't been vaping hard enough to drain all 3 of the batteries without having a fully charged one on hand, but, All I have heard on the battery life of the ego/tornado has been good so I am looking to get one of those on my next paycheck.

bit of a review on the 2 i have

DSE901 -
pro's
- Small
- looks almost like a normal "cig"
- battery life is ok
- vapor is good/good taste
- durable
- very cheap for what you get
cons
- cart size is tiny, need to "top up" alot with extra juice
- for my use, battery runs out to quick

RN4072
pro's
- Lots! of good vapor
- cartridge takes a lot of liquid
- battery life is good
- good size to hold

cons
- less portable
- taste seems to be not as strong as the DSE901
- few variations, some cart's seem "loose" in the atty, but hasnt been a problem

hope this helps

Edit:

from what ive seen in other posts/discussion i concur with lightinup.
you will get a ton of recommendations.
have a bit of a read. buy 2 different ones that seem to fit your needs. if you have the cash.
or buy one and if you don't like it find another.

there are a few "dud's" though.
alot of complaints about "blu" ecigs. not many people have liked these.

Ive been recommending the below combo for some time now and i still think its an excellent combo for any vaper not looking for a mod. Here is what i recommend:

Electronic Cigarette | Electronic Cigarettes | E-Cigarettes | E-Cigs from Smoore -

1 x M402 SMART PCC kit
1 x USB Passthrough
10 x Atomisers
100ml to 260ml of E-Liquid (recommended flavor: Marlboro)
10-20 blank carts
2 -4 Manual Batts (either M401 or M402 size)
1 extra charger

You won't need anything else and you should be ok for quite a while. The Mseries is an excellent choice and complete with all needed accessories. When you are at a place with loud noises, change to your manual batts. The USB Passthrough is a great piece so don't forget this in your order no matter what. Atomisers are only $6 a piece when ordering 10pcs. The liquid amount you wish to order is your choice. There is currently a great deal for 100 ml and 260ml so you decide.

Hope this helps. :)

It does depend a lot on what you want: If the 901 was perfect for you, why not get another one? If you want more vapour, for example, then the 510 is the way to go. Single most recommended anyway. Although I'd get it as an eGo, because that one pretty much solves any problems with battery life. (The eGo is basically a 510 with a bigger battery and a neat and useful cover.)

I have tried quite a few items. My best set-up (for me) is a 901 atty.
(cheap and fairly reliable), A KR 808 passthrough and 280mah 808 manual battery for public vaping. I also have an APC UPB810 portable power pack for the PT. You can get these on ebay for around $25.00. They last all day under heavy vaping conditions.
The 901 auto batt's are crap IMO.

i have to agree with the 510 suggestions here. i would recommend manual batteries though, i find the automatic ones don't set the atty off as fast as i would like, but that may just be me.

definitely get a PCC with it so you aren't running out of charged batteries while you are out. i alternate between 2 batteries most of the time but do need to recharge them during the day.

Well, just to throw in one more opinion. I have both a Volcano and a Magma. I use both daily. The Volcano is a mini (L88B) so is very portable, great to have at hand for one puff and put down needs when I'm at work at my desk. It's eliminated the short, get up and go outside smoke breaks I used to take, so has probably improved my work productivity. The Magma (510) could work the same way for most people, but for me it is a bit of overkill and doesn't do any better at this. Where the Magma shines is in the car or at home in front of the computer. When driving I'm used to chain smoking so now I chain vape. The Magma battery lasts better and has more vapor. The Volcano can work for this too, but I like that tactile feel of the Magma better here. At home on the computer I use the Magma on a passthrough and often drip. Lots of vapor, no battery probs, and while I'm using the PT, the batteries are all charging for the next trip away from the computer.

The other part of this is that if I was still using just factory parts, I'd probably not have stuck with these (or probably any other devices). I mod my carts (Coffee filters or blue foam), use other juices, and make my own 0-nic juice. Factory carts are ok, but modded ones last much better and you get a lot more choices, Watermelon (my current favorite) for example.

There was also a bit of a learning curve with both devices. They don't work the same and if you try to treat them the same, you will be disappointed. The attys for both had to be broken in before they really worked well, but once that was over, both do what they are supposed to very well.

Just my two cents.

I'm new at this but I've found my MKII scewdriver from Totally Wicked satisfys my nic craving for taste and flavor, I smoked analogs (cigs) for over 30 years and this device is helping me quit, and it's a great hobby,I find I must use 36mg to get my fix but will be weaning myself down sometime right now I'm happy! But there is a learning curve you must go thru so don't give up!
