having tried a 901, 801, and a KR8, i'd have to recomend the KR8. more vapor and flavor than either of the DSE models, although slightly less throat hit than the 901. can't say how it stacks up to the 510, but if you go with either,, you can always step up to a big battery mod, with either cartos or attys as the KR will use a 901 atty with out an adapter.

Just as an added. My wife and I tested out vaping with the overpriced Mall vendor Smoking Everywhere. Did not hook us until we started reading up on these things, wife had decided to quit smoking no matter what and used that for around a few days before getting frustrated. We found Smokestik vendor here in town and things have gone up from there.

About 2 weeks ago I ordered a starter kit from easycig.com using the kr808d-1 model. Great price, great starter kit with USB charger, USE passthrough, 2 batteries (i went automatic but you can get manual as well) , 10ml bottle of juice and 6 total cartomizers for roughly 60USD. Turned out to be a great purchase. The flavors from the place are not the best to be honest but I am not using e-juice from Tastyvaper.us and it is great.

Stopped analogs on the first day I got the kit and damn happy to be done with those things.

I started on a 510 and really liked the vapor but battery life is disappointing is you want to use them as an analog replacement when you go out. The price isn't bad, either, but once again batteries are the drawback and they cost $12 or so to replace, plus shipping. A pass-through works wonders if you are anywhere near a computer and want to vape for extended periods.

I recently got a Screwdriver MKII and haven't looked back. Great vapor and the battery lasts literally 8-10 hours or more.

Yea, I'm another one in the V4L/KR8 corner, (for now anyway). I'm lucky as I didn't have to decide on my intial start-up equipment, my brother gifted my a nice KR8 set up to get me going, he said if you don't take to it, I want it, don't let it set around on a shelf. HA!

He aint gettin it back (thanks but sorry, if you read this)

With the new carto's that are comeing out they make the KR8 even better, the learning curve is crazy trying to hit the "sweet spot" on refilling and so fourth but that could just be me. I've been trying to process the tons of ECF info I've gathered over the last couple of months (thanks all) and unless I have missed something, the KR8 is a little better for a more active type lifestyle? As a contractor I like the way I can pack what I need in a pcc and be good for a day. Good luck in your search !
