What is the best way to break in a new atty?

I am currently trying a menthol crystal mix, to have a flavor as strong as possible, but this does not seem to help. It tastes like raw meat mixed with mint. Aaaaargh !!!!!!!.

I was thinking of maybe soaking the atty in Vodka for a night. Would this work? My sadness when an atty does is not the fact that the atty died, but the fact that I must break in a new one.

I made this a new thread, and if we get a cool good solution we can post it under tips and tricks. If I post it directly under tips and tricks, it might spawn a whole conversation just under this heading. This is just to help Di to keep the place nice and tidy.

I just blow out the primer and drop a couple drops of straight vg (undiluted, still thick) on it and vape that. vg does a wonderful job at destroying the flavor of everything it comes in contact with

If im in a hurry i just blow out the primer and start using it as is.

If I dont blow out the primer its pretty unbearable. Blown out its no big deal and with vg its nothing at all.

I run mine under really hot water for about a minute. Then I blow it out through the battery side till no water comes out. Then I blow inside the atomizer until it looks dry, then I vape, vape, vape.

Ok, I did the foebea suggestion so far, and it worked. I did the VG more than a couple of drops though. I did a couple; vaped a bit, did another couple vaped a bit, and then blew out the atty. This worked.

Make sure you hold the atty under the tap with a pliers or something because it will be HOT. And give it a minute or 2 before you blow on it because it will still be HOT. I know you probably don't need to be told this but you never know with some people.

I have a very simple ritual for my (510) atties.
1. Blow atty hard from cartridge end
2. Drip 3 drops of eliquid on atty
3. Get a couple of draws
4. Drip 2 drops on atty, fill and place cartridge

That's it. Never had a problem.

Thanks SavePaperVapor. I now tried your way with the rinsing on a HV 901 also. Works perfectly. And I did not even burn myself.
