What is the best way to clean a battery?

Hey I've used basic rubbing alcohol on a cue tip to clean my battery.

Anyone have other suggestions or perhaps a youtube video showing how to do it ?

What kind of batteries do you have? Manual? All I really do is use a q-tip with some iso-alcohol. Sometimes a wooden tooth pick dipped in alcohol to clean it inside. I do the same to the battery charger.

I do the same at least once a week. I wipe out the thread end of batteries with a small piece of cloth after each use before charging.

I use a paper towel twisted on a corner to clean out juice and an occasional toothpick to get into the ring around the center conductor.

Pool cue tip? What kind of battery are we talking about?

Those definitely look useful.

Every time before I put a battery on the charger or PCC I wipe the end well with tissue or my T-shirt. That's pretty much it unless I am sick. If I am sick with a stomach virus (you can reinfect yourself with some of those) or cold (have not had a cold since I started vaping) I use clorox wipes (barely damp and don't really have bleach) and I wipe the outsides of the batteries, cartos, drip tips.

Try using meths to clean the top and bottom.

I've heard optical cleaning cloths are good to clean batteris

Are they the ones with alcohol in. I use them all the time and they really clean well. Big bonus is I can get them free from work
