Hey hi, well soaking in rubbing alcohol is recommended for the first time you use your tanks and parts, mainly to get rid of the oil residue they use while machining the different parts. But if its a tank you have already used i would only soak or rinse in some warm water and dry burn the coil. Please note that PG and VG as well as nicotine and flavour is soluble in water so... Now if you are using flavour with water insoluble oil guess a simple soaking in any edible hydro alcoholic solution will do [vodka etc]

I agree, I have never used anything but warm water to clean mine and I not once have had to worry about any residue. Just as they taught us in chemistry class " Like Dissolves Like".

Fsat, I do the same as you except I use a 20% vinegar/water solution in the bowl for an hour. I even through the coil in to get the previous juice's flavor out. Then, using needle nose pliers, I run the hottest water I can from the sink (filtered) over each part and put them on a p-towel to air-dry. No smell and the vinegar is not strong enough to do any damage to rubber seals, etc.

Generally I wash parts in hot water and dry over night or shake and wipe with paper towel, blow out the parts. For strong flavors I used to soak in grain alcohol, rinse an dry over night, but haven't done that in a while. The coils heads in my tanks I generally don't soak unless I am going to rebuild the ones that can be rebuilt. The ones that can't be rebuilt I throw away.

I use aspire BVC coils in all my tanks. I used to do all the faffing about with soaking, achohol etc etc. Discovered with the bvc coils I don't need to do any of that.

I strip the tank into parts and rinse under the tap, dry with tissue. i rinse the coil under a tap with fast running water for a min or two, blow it out then dry burn, rinse again blow it out. reassemble tank, fill with juice then I shut down the airflow and take about 10 to 20 mouth puffs till the steam turns into vape again and away i go. always as good as new.

when dry burning the BVC coils you cannot damage them as the filler is ceramic. Keep pulsing the power on untill no smoke comes out. blow out ash as you go. The final rinse gets out any ash remains. No need to let them dry before use. only a few puffs of steam and you back in business

thats how i do it anyway. never had an issue and my heads are lasting month or more. i use thick VG liq and I am a chain vaper
