Here's what Gardner said so well:
The true benefit of the MaxxFusion is the computer chip which controls battery activation. Because of that technology you get great vapor production on the first puff without the need of a primer puff. Additionally, you get longer battery performance and regulated 3.7v output. Most KR808 batteries will vary in output from 3.2v up to 4.2v. This will cause variance in performance and may burn up your carto because it will "burn" too hot.

Thanks to those who replied. I wish Bloog would put a little more technical info on their site, but this could be said of many ecig sites. Someone also told me the difference between the two is that the Max cartomizer is horizontal as opposed to vertical. What is the advantage of that?

BTW, DeeLeeKay; I noticed you are in Pittsburgh, what part are you in? I grew up in Penn Hills.

I am not sure what the advantage is, all I can say is the bloog batt/carto combo is the closest to a real analog as it can get.

Penn Hills is not far from here. I live in the Frazier Township/Tarentum area.

nahhhh... having a horizontal wick means nothing to me. What does that do for me? That's what we want to know.... does it mean it gives more flavor? Lasts longer? But there's more to it than just that... it doesn't burn, the filler is different.

The riV4l cartos have a vertical coil, which (because the airtube is in the middle) means it has to be off to one side of the carto. It's actually within the filler, as far as I've seen. Take the cap off one, and look for the wire sticking up through the filler, or you can poke around with a bent paperclip. It's along one side. Where it can burn the filler.

BMF cartos have a horizontal coil at the bottom of the carto, extending up into the airtube but (theoretically) not touching the filler at all. Since gravity pulls the juice down as we vape (provided we don't raise the e-cig above horizontal), the BMF carto vapes more of the juice, with less chance of burning the filler.

I think they taste considerably 'cleaner', too, although not as clean as a cartomizer (which can just as quickly taste like dishwater).

As has been said, the Fusion is a standard KR8, the MaxxFusion is an improved KR8. The MaxxFusion produces more vapor per puff, and more puffs per carto, and are the most burn-proof cartomizers on the market. The MaxxFusion batts have the fastest, most reliable switch on the market, and provide a longer lasting charge. Every aspect of design and performance is optimized to give you the most analog like e-smoking experience possible, to make it as easy as possible for a current smoker to successfully make the switch away from tobacco smoking, and to the better alternative of vaping.

Whenever I see.. BMF... I never think Blood Max Fusion... I think of the wording on Jewel's wallet at the diner scene in the movie Pulp Fiction.

"Get my wallet..."
"Which one is it?"
"The one that says... BMF on it."

Well, we started out using just MF for MaxxFusion, which brought to mind another movie scene:

Is it just me? Whenever I see someone refer to the MF cartos, or the MF batteries, that acronym just cracks me up. I know, I know, mind in the gutter and all that.

<SamuelJackson>I'm lovin' these MF cartos on my MF batteries!</SamuelJackson>

This is some great information folks, thanx. One more question... Are the Bloog cartomizers refillable? And if so, does Bloog intend to sell juice? (I know, I know, that was two questions)

BTW DLK, I work for a company based in O'Hara township up in the RIDC park. They moved me to Texas for a short term assignment... 27 years ago!

Yes, they are refillable, and yes they will have juice someday. Soon I hope.

As Ms starsong said, "They are refillable". Many times over for just a single carto.

Man, that was some short term assignment. Either it exended to forever, or you just love Texas.

In my opinion you can't go wrong with a bloog. If you ever visit Pittsburgh, maybe we can get together and have a drink and vape our bloog's together :)

I used to play Quake online and it had a gun named the BFG (big f*&^n gun) and sometimes I think of that when I am typing BMF, that is when I am not thinking the Pulp Fiction quote.

Thanks for all the information that this post has brought out. It may be stuff that you EBers (experienced Bloogers) know but I am appreciating learning. I am one who likes to know lots of detail about what I purchase. I admit in this case, I researched until my head was spinning from information overload, then found this forum and read lots of posts. I kept seeing many Bloog users posting satisfaction with the product and that was enough for me.

It might be beneficial to go watch some of Leafords youtube video's to learn more about the industry and 808d-1's. I just got finished watching about filling, refilling methods and learned a bunch. Plus, Leaford just rocks.
