Got a few minutes and updated my sig script. Just a WIP really, and not ready yet.
Will (eventually) update the Bloog script.

If you, unlike me, have any graphic design skills, you can drop me an animated gif with those dimensions and I'll make a sig available out of that.

Oh, thank god! I thought it was my hangover playing tricks on me.

Was it something I said?
I need to find a sharp needle - the blunt doesn't work for me and I end up making more of a mess than if I drip it in.

Get some wire cutters, tin snips, or the like, cut your needle tip at an angle. Probably won't be sharp enough to mainline your juice, but I bet it'll work for your needs!

The funny thing is, the V4L guy told the newb to click his signature banner which has an affiliate code in the link. This is not considered kosher with forum mods. Especially as the person who is clicking it has no idea he is funding the guy who told him to use V4L.

***I am not suggesting that the V4L poster is intentionally being misleading or is engaging in something truly unethical. I am saying that in that scenario the poster is tainting his very valid suggestion with self-interest***

I was trying to choose between Bloog and V4L when I restarted my vaping attempt to quit smoking. I chose Bloog for two reasons.

One I was a little freaked out because I saw many posts and suggestions where you may need to sand down parts of the battery if you experienced difficulties with the cartomizers. This got me thinking, if they can't get their own cartos to work with their own batteries then something must be wrong there. Anyway, to me it was a VERY big concern and caused me to distrust their product, mostly the battery.

Two, I read some really good reviews in this forum. Many of them from PapaBloog. I was definitely caught up in his enthusiasm. Whatever happened to that guy and why doesn't he spend time with us here?

I do want to add this:

Recently, Morandir sent me some V4L cartomizers so I can experience a few flavors (Thanks again!) that were always out of stock. Anyway, they don't produce a lot of vapor on my Bloog batteries though the flavor is very present. However, when I use them with the Bloog PassThru they are awesome! In fact, better than the Bloog Cartos which overheat and burn. I guess the RiV4L's prefer a higher voltage.

I tried V2 to start with and the results were less then pleasant. As things looked bleak for me, I found Papabloog's posts and decided I was gonna try the bloog batts. I ordered my starter kit and got some of my favorite juice. I was then a happy camper.

Even with all the problems with stock and such bloog came through and got me off of analogs.

I'm not quite ready to pronounce that problem licked, but I think it might finally be. My engineer came up with a three-pronged solution, which so far is holding up in my testing. One, we raised the resistance just slightly to between 2.6 and 2.8, two, we raised the coil 1.5mm higher and are using a tool to help consistent placement, and three we increased the wick from 4 strands to 5 strands to improve wicking.

I've been using the latest blanks with 100%VG on a 5V passthrough, and so far no burnt taste. Well, except for the Kamel flavor's usual smokey flavor that is. Which, BTW is one reason I am not 100% confident the solutions worked; I need a lighter flavored VG juice to test with.

Anyway, the other reason is that they implemented the solution in mid production stream, so I'm not sure which cartos from the latest batch have the improved design and which don't. I'm mostly but not entirely certain the new blanks that arrived in NJ today have the design changes. So anyone who buys them, let me know how they do.

Future batches will have the refined design, and will be labeled "MF V2" so you know. But that won't start until they PRINT the stickers, so not on the next couple of shipments.
