What is the difference between "Diamond Series Auto Short Battery" and "Vapor King Diamond Series Auto Short Battery"?

So I've gone back 10 pages in threads, and did a forum search for the information I'm looking for, and if it's out there, it's buried somewhere under an obscure thread title.

On the order page under "Diamond and Stealth Series batteries", there are Diamond Series Auto batteries in short, regular, and XL. But, there's also a Vapor King Diamond Series Auto Short Battery that one can order. In the Diamond Series drop down, one can order one in 11 different colors. But in the Vapor King Diamond Series Auto Short drop down, one can only order in 5 different colors. This leads me to believe that these 2 types of batteries are different. If they are indeed different, as per the stock available suggests, what are the differences between Vapor King Diamond series and just Diamond series batteries?

The reason I ask is because my wife wants a new battery, but the color she wants is depicted on the picture for the Vapor King, but not in that drop down box. The name of that color appears in the drop down for the other Diamond Series, but in the picture, the color is a darker, more muted color.

Darri, I believe (won't swear to it though) that the Diamond series are the v2's with the improved draw and such. The Vapor King Diamonds are the original Diamond batts. The new ones don't say Vapor king, they say Vapor Titan now

Darrigaaz sir the difference is one is version 1, the other version 2. Same batts in some ways, not in others. V1 had issues with longevity for some people, issues with the post needing reset after using cool carts to wows on some of them, etc. V2 fixes the issues of V1. The cell is the same from what I can tell through testing though, switch and draw has been improved on the V2's. Suggest going with the V2's over the V1's, but the original king diamonds were still great.

Ms. Keelalagirl still say Vapor King Diamond when you order them. Not letting that name die...

Exactly Ms. Keelalagirl. Can't vape without thinking of one of the greatest artists ever.... Look at the avatar, how could anyone not love King Diamond.

They are listed differently on the site though....there is diamond series auto short and there is vapor king diamond auto short...both at the same price and all....I think that is where the confusion is taking play.

I'm a little late on this, but yeah, I just got a brand new diamond last week and it bears the title, "Vapor Titan." VT1002. Red chrome, blue LED, and can light up a room in the dark. Bad ...

That is correct. The one's labeled Vapor King are the V1's
