What is the difference between say eGo T, and eGo - C ? And the difference between all the other eGo batteries?
Here's a start....

There are knockoffs and clones of all of them. Best to find a Joyetech dealer - cignot is my go to vendor for Joye. If you don't see 'joyetech' somewhere on a site, good probability of a knock off. If they say 'works with Joye' or has 'Joye connection', etc. = not a joyetech product. Some clones have joyetech logo on the battery. Just because it says 'eGo-c' or 'eGo-c Twist' doesn't mean it's a Joye. Most of the problems you'll see on this forum are knockoffs although there is always the possibility of 'lemon' from Joye, but it's rare.
That being said, should i shop a local vendor,.or buy from fasttech for my ego c twist?

To the point, the eGo is a 510 batt? I'm looking at and watching reading reviews of the Kanger Mini Protank II because of all the separate parts that can be replaced, the glass tank and the lack of leakage.
I am not sure what fitting, ergo battery style, is required cause I can't find a cross reference between batts and atomizers/clearomizers.
Geez, I hope the terminology is correct enough cause I really don't know what I'm talking about LOL and I am trying to avoid becoming a vape equip technician/mechanic.
Or... I'm trying to set my path and stay on it. I know I said that with Halo G6 to Halo Triton but Kanger may give more options over time.
Yup...not like you can't get 5 for less than the price of two..however if you need em now or before a month is out...DON'T order from FT!Hmmm.... Suggest finding a true Joye vendor and buy from them. Some locals have true Joyes. Fasttech is cheaper but the probability of getting a DOA or one that lasts only a few weeks is about 3 out of 5 so you might want to buy more than one.
I just wanted to throw this out there for people scared of buying non-joye eGos.
I've been into vaping for several years now, and have the typical "vaper junk box" full of tons of no-longer-used vape goods. This box used to hold tons of eGos, but as vaping spread throughout my friends and family they were slowly given away and now I only have a 350mAh and a 900mAh Smoktech left.
Anyway, the eGos I've given away were SmokTechs, Joyes, no-name ones, Rivas, etc etc. My sister texted me today asked if I had an extra eGo battery she could buy cheap from me. I knew she had tons of wondered why she wanted another. Evidently her others died, and the only eGo batteries she has left are the two smoktechs from her first vaping kit.
Of all the various brands of eGo batts I've given away, everyone still has their smoktechs, nobody has their joyes, rivas, pretty colored fancy no-name ego batteries left, as they failed. The only eGo batteries I still have that work are the Smoktechs
That being said, I also had a friend's bother buy a SmokTech ego starter kit about 6-8 months ago, and one of his died right away. But in my personal experience, smoktech has been the most reliable brand for eGo batteries. Make of that what you will. Electronics usually have a similar type of life expectancy with fellow products. Meaning, if it doesn't die right away, it will usually last awhile. ST's "lasting awhile" seems longer than any other brand, but their chances of dying right away seem higher.
As someone else pointed out, Janty was the originator of the eGo battery. They had Joye manufacture it for them, and then Joye started selling them under its own name. Not sure if that was all above board as far as Janty was concerned, but I'm pretty sure they knew it would happen considering Chinese manufacturers usually won't make anything for you unless you allow them to sell your product design under their own label.
It's really hard to know what factories things are coming from, for all we know other brands of eGo batteries are quite literally coming from the same production line as Joyes. I'm not saying that's true, just saying it's hard to tell. I've yet to see anyone pinpoint exactly where the quality differences are between joye and other ego batts, as in the brand/model of cell, type of materials used for the body, brand of electronics, etc. There seems to just be personal opinion on the matter, and there are so many variables it's totally impossible to make any sort of meaningful comparison based on the experiences of a few hundred people on a forum. Or from a few dozen personal purchases.
Personally, if I were to buy another eGo battery, the brand would be the absolutely last thing on my list I cared about.
I was wondering if anyone else was going to point this out. Thanks for saying it.
It's only been told about 10 times a year in this forum. Usually by me. Welcome to the eGo-types forum Mr. Mann and RPad
