PG - enhances flavor

VG - vapor producer but can mute flavor, adds some sweetness.

JC are okay. Nothing, IMO, to rave about but everyone's tastes are different. They just didn't do anything for me. The best suggestion I can give you is to try different vendors out until you find one/two/three of them that satisfy you. You will get a ton of suggestions but please remember, what someone likes/dislikes, might be different for you.

PG - thin, lets through the most of nicotine's TH and irritation, lets through the most flavors, makes thin visible vapor
VG - thick, dulls/smooths everything PG lets through, makes thicker more persistent vapor

Most people use blends. And the way you vape may determine what thicknesses work best.

atomizer - you can use any thickness or blend as long as it wicks as fast as you vape

stuffing cartomizer - I find 20% VG or less gives me the best wicking and drag and continued performance. Big battery models with hotter cartomizers might be able to use a bit thicker since heat loosens juice.

reservoir cartomizer and tanks - I think these like 20-30% VG. 100% PG may be more prone to leak. Some thicker juices may wick too slowly. Some people say they can use 50/50 but it may depend on the vendor since so vendors thin their juices to improve flow.

thankyou. now I know what the differences are and that there are different mixes of them. but do you have to buy them separate and mix it yourself, or can you buy them pre mixed? and also, where can I find empty cartomizers that will fit the blu? If there are any, that is. that way I can experiment with new flavors without having to worry about residual flavor from a cartomizer being pre filled.

The best way to try out new flavors is to drip with an atomizer. Since you're using Blu, this is going to be a little tough. It's an automatic battery and if juice gets into the hole it can ruin the battery.

Juices purchased from vendors are premixed and ready to use. I think you can use 510 cartos with the Blu battery and you can buy an atomizer and drip tip for testing new flavors.

I just read where it said you had a blu. I don't want to come across as negative but I threw that thing away a week after I had it. It just didn't do anything for me. Flavors were dull, terrible battery life, barely any vapor except off of a freshly charged battery....the list just did me in. I immediately starting looking up better options. I opted for the eGo after that and it was the greatest upgrade I made. It seems a little pricey (around $80) for a starter kit but at $150/month on analogs it was worth it. I've been using my eGo since mid january and haven't bought a pack of cigarettes yet. If you're looking for a smaller ecig then the joytec 501 is a great choice but the battery won't last all day like the eGo will. If it wasn't for this forum I would've gone back to analogs no problem if I was only left with the blu. Maybe you're luckier than I was but the blu was the biggest waste of money I've spent in a very long time.

I was also wondering if johnson creek is a good place to buy juice from. as they have a sample pack of 10 different flavors for around 20$

While I didn't care for Johnson's Creek liquid, they were absolutely fair to me. Check out their return policies, I don't think they've changed.

I tried a sample pack and didn't like it -you might. I contacted them, and they facilitated a return (post included) in a professional manner.

Good business!

I know where you are coming from. I have been fighting with my blue since day 4. I really wish I had found ECF before I bought it. I would have been able to find something more to my liking. originally I was looking for something that was somewhere between the size of a king size analog, and a disposable ball point pen, lightweight, with long battery life for the size of the battery. and that it would act similar to an analog. I knew I wasn't going to get the taste of an analog, which was fine because I was going with the theory of if it tastes better and I am still getting my nicotine I will be more likely to grow to dislike analogs more and more. I did however, find that cleaning out and refilling a cartomizer with higher quality juice made a minor improvement, though there are still some shortcomings I could do without. like a minimum of 4 battery changes a day, and a cartomizer that only lasts a couple hours before I have to clean it out as it got that overheated burnt taste to it.

I am, however, thinking about saying to hell with the idea of an ecig that behaves like an analog, and am thinking about getting the ego t starter kit in purple.

Hi, I am a noobie here, but I just found that Totally Wicked has a sale going on until July 31. They have a tornado kit with 2 batteries and 2 atomizers and all the accessories for just under $41.00. I thought that was a really good deal and am considering buying one for myself. I have not bought from them before, so I may be uninformed. I have been researching and reading for about 2 days and stumbled across it. Here is the link Tornado E Cigarette Starter Kit / E Cigarettes and E Liquid from Totally Wicked

Everything on their site is 30% off.

I would look into an ego and get some low resistance cartomizers (boge is what I like) and some low resistance atomizers as well. I noticed on my ego that when I used the regular resistance I was still getting good vapor but to me I need a little heat and I just didn't get that out of my ego. When I made the switch to the low resistance stuff I started getting the heat I was looking for. It's held me over for 8 months now. With the carts and atty's you'll be able to decide if you're more of a carto person or a dripper. Good luck!
