what is the GGTS adjustable draw cap used for?

i dont understand the use/ need of this accessory. albeit i just ordered my ggts and it hasnt arrived yet, but i couldnt figure out what it was for. please explain as the vaporkings website says little.

It adjusts the amount of airflow entering the atomizer, making the draw more or less stiff depending on the amount of air you let in.

If you don't have that cap the atty will not be sealed off. You need that part because it has an oring inside. It finishes off the device and allows the use of the adjustable draw ring without the AVS. It will all be abundantly clear when you get yours.

Actually, i kind of like the draw without it....without the AVS, of course.
