So what rating are my Samsung 30Q’s?

See my Mod is designed for a 26650 battery but came with the 30Q’s would I be better of with an 18650, 26650 or would those 20700 run my mod.

I use a vaporesso Nebula with a cleito EXO but I prefer to use ss316L coils for the standard cleito instead as they last me longer run in the wattage range I enjoy.

You guys are wicked for helping me in this decision.

Samsung 30Q 3000mah 15a CDR cell that can be pushed to 20a if cell temperature is monitored & kept below 75c / 167f.
Sony vtc 6 is a 3000mah 15 a CDR cell that can be pushed to 20a if cell temperature is monitored & kept below 80c / 176f.
LGHG2 is a 3000mah 20a CDR cell.
The harder a cell is pushed the faster they degrade.

The Sony vtc 5 A is a 2500mah 25a CDR cell.

Mooch is an invaluable asset to the community when it comes to the cells we use, I suggest reading up.

hi all
I have 2 samsung 30Q 18650’s but im wondering is what is the highest amp with atleast 3000mAh?
Looking for a high amp with high endurance battery.

If you are trying to get more battery life, then maybe move to a mod that holds more batteries. If you have a 2 battery mod, try one with 3. If you already have a 3 battery, try a 4 battery mod. If you already have a 4 battery mod, then you may need to look at something like this:

So many cells married to that mod... isn't polygamy illegal?

Asking for a friend.

* Manufacturer's CDR is 15A. The Samsung 30Q datasheet (Section 7.9) mentions operation at 20A. Operation at that level can be done as long as we don’t let the battery get above 75°C, its maximum rated operating temperature. This holds true for the Sony VTC6 battery as well. These are not a high performance “power” cell, designed for high current. They are a high capacity “energy” cell designed for low to moderate power levels and long running time. At higher current levels the voltage sag and power loss in the cell are huge. Do not exceed 20A.

There may be a reason I am unaware of, but I would probably pass on a battery that said "SANSUNG"
on the wrap.
Just saying..... :pervy:

It does kind of look line an "N" LOL. If you zoom in it is actually an "M". Really crappy font.

Speaking of which the one this forum uses has an annoying "feature". It is really difficult to tell the difference between rn (lower case RN) and m (lower case M) due to the lack of spacing between the letters.

Actually, just move your head up and down while looking at it and you'll see it change.
