I was reading up on rebuildables, i did my first rsst a few weeks ago with help from local shop, and every other person says reo and rm2. I wanted to know what it is and all i see is this pic:

http://www.reosmods.com/components/...ge/product/reo_mini_2.1_bla_513cffd8d4c2f.jpg

So i have two questions:

1: What is it really and since so many people have it, i think its a good step away from my mvp2+rsst combo, so where can i buy it cheap, if its only reo please pm me any deals or referrals programs that i can buy through you..
2: kayfun lites looks like it was in second place, should i get this instead. I am very serious i want to continue to learn and help others out!

A reo is a bottom feeding mod most are mechs (ie not regulated/no chip). My Reo grands for example have a 6 mL bottle for juice inside with a tube going up to the 510 connector. You squeeze the bottle through the door and juice goes up the tube through the bottom into the dripping atty where you can vape it. There are a number of dripping attys that can be used including plain old fashioned 510 attys and a number of rebuildables. The RM2 is the rebuildable done by the same person that makes the REO. So it is dripping without the dripping part (you squok the juice up as opposed to dripping the juice in).

You can also not use the squoking system and attach any 510 tank device you want to a REO.

REOs are incredibly solid little devices. Extremely well made and meant to last a lifetime.

#1 A Reo don't come cheap! the price is reasonable IMO Like Myrany posted it'a bottom feeder mechanical mod witch duplicate a dripping atomize with out the hassle of constantly dripping juice it is a Mechanical mod and it has all the characteristics of one it can easily be made a
a variable wattage device with a Kick or it also comes in a Variable voltage model

#2 A Kayfun is only half of the equation it is a rebuildable tank atomizer pair it with a Provari and you have an excellent combination
unlike the Reo the Kayfun Provari combo is a Regulated device witch has a chip that allows you to control the voltage to the Kayfun
it also controls the battery and delivers a constant voltage through the battery life

bottom line they are both good choices and both Don't come cheap :)

Well, for what it's worth I had a kayfun/mech combo & sold them & got a second Reo. For me the Reo is just easier to have a good consistent vape with. Since what it is has already been explained above, i will just say that if you like using a tank type system you might enjoy the Kayfun set up more. If you like using a dripper a lot then the Reo would be a great device for you.

They aren't cheap. But you can get one used on the classies. However they are worth every penny Reosmods charges imo & I don't consider the price too outrageous all things considered.

Reos are my daily drivers.

When I got my first Reo, I soon PIF'd everything I own away.

The few items I've since picked up are pretty looking mechanical's for collecting only. (bored and superfluous items)

The Reo is a bullet proof, dead simple vaping system. It's real RDA dripping without having to drip. No leaks, no gurgling, no dry hits. True mechanical, nothing to break. Fresh on-demand juice straight on the coil. Travels and pockets like a dream.

Because you use an RDA on top of it, it opens up a broad versatility in the kind of vape you can achieve. Capable of anything from cloud chasing to smooth flavorful puffing.

The RM2 is a really affordable RDA modded by Reosmods for bottom feeding. It's arguably one of the easiest RDA's to build on. The posts are further apart and evenly space, and the deck is ceramic giving added safety against accidental shorts. The chamber is super tiny, offering up incredible flavor. I DIY my own e-liquids, and have lowered the flavoring % that goes into my mixes by a significant amount for the liquids I use in my Reo + RM2 set-ups.

Absolutely an incredible value for what it is, considering it's not just a mod but an entire system. The support and community behind the product is unparalleled.

No-brainer vaping machine. If you can't get an all day bullet proof vape out of a Reo+RM2 that rivals and exceeds anything else you own... I dunno what to tell ya...

For what it's worth;

I've been vaping for around 3-4 years. Started off with the cigalikes, very soon after that I got a silver bullet. That has been my go-to mod for 3-3.5/4 years. I've never thought about getting different mods because it was so well built, good vape, etc. I've dropped it out of my truck doing 40-45, left it out in a field overnight during a storm (got dropped hunting, a friend found it.) It still fired up.

Needless to say, I have a Reo that should be arriving by mail today. I feel a bit sad because I've built up a bond with my silverbullet, but from the research i've done, nothing will compare to the reo. All in all I spent around 300 to get it up and running. 3 good batteries, a good 4 port charger, reo, RM2, extra things for the reo, kanthal wire, ohms meter etc. However in that 300 dollars, I know this thing will last me a LONG time. Perhaps even a lifetime if taken care of. Pretty good investment if you ask me.

I had a Reo for a couple of years. Pretty good vape and loved the juice carry capacity.

I did have a big beef with it though. The button to activate it is made of delrin or some other plastic that was affected by juices. The button became increasingly more grungy and less smooth as time went on, no matter how much I cleaned it. When my Reo got crushed I would have bought a new one except for the button problem.
If it had a SS button I would buy one in a heartbeat.

You can now get both ss button covers and brass covers. Washing it should have fixed the problem :p I wash mine all the time! The wonderful thing about a Reo is that you can just wash it with hot water and soap and it's all sparkly again...

I'm not sure how you would get juice all over your button, seeing as it's not really anywhere near juice. There are brass, aluminum, and derlin button covers available now.

How did you "crush" your Reo? A wood one I take it?

If it was a metal one:

If the door was messed up, you can order new ones now.

Along with the new firing pin and spring coming any day, there's a new button as well. All this will be standard on new Grands coming out, and of course a kit will be user serviceable into older existing Reo's. :D

The current kit is $23, but like I said this kit will be replaced any day (the supplier is late on shipment);

If the 510 connection got damaged due to an attached atty taking a violent nudge, I'm sure you can send it to Maine and get it sorted out.

Lastly, if you were using a Reo a few years ago, you were most likely rockin' disposable atty's and cartomizers on it, which still work fine; but realize that RDA's have really breathed new life into the device. In other words... if you still have that "crushed" Reo laying around somewhere, it's days are not numbered.

My button did get juice splashed on it from on over filled drip cup a few times and that affected the internal area where the button would slide in and out. I just did a quick wipe down, then later in the day would do a hot water flush. I guess those few hours with juice contamination was enough to pit or swell the delrin.
It was a metal Reo Grand. That is until it was run over by a 40 ton 18 wheeler. Now it's a Reo pancake. I should have taken pics.

I have used re-buildables and would love to get another Reo, but won't unless the new button that is coming out is non plastic. All metal mods only for me.

LOL, now that's the ultimate crush test scylla. I would have expected it to survive one wheel it if it was on its back or front and on a flat surface, but it probably got run over a few times by different wheels and the first time it was not flat would have been the end of it
