Waiting all morning next to door for mail man and then go to toilet for 5 min (its upstairs) missed the mail man now got to wait until tomorow

I've driven to the post office a couple times before in the past when I missed a delivery. But it was for an expensive item most likely.
Where i live its not going to the post office if you miss it you got to wait for the next day if you miss it again then you can go to the post office
