I saw this looking for VAMO accessories and it struck my interest.
Is this some kind of drip atty? Why is it so long? Where can I get one? Thanks

Ive never used a carto before. Have you? Are they any good? Hows the production? Thanks
A cartomizer in a cartotank is my favorite juice delivery device.

Drawback of a cartomizer used solo is you can't see the juice level within the metal cylinder when a drip tip is on. Also, once you have vaped a few drags on it, the filler within will look dry at the top, even though the middle and bottom will be saturated with juice.

But to me they provide the best flavor of any other the more common juice delivery devices, especially if within a tank. The carto will need to have 1 - 3 small holes in the shaft to allow juice to enter from the tank. Suction created by taking a drag encourages more juice to enter the carto. Advantages of a cartotank over a cartomizer used solo is the extended time between needing juice refills and being able to see the juice level.

It's all explained better with pictures and videos in this blog post I created: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...e-delivery-attachments-page2.html#comment7857

After looking at the pic and then positioning my hand the same way to hold my Vamo.. It's just a standard sized carto with a drip tip on it...

Just eyeballing it - I don't agree. A quick Google search showed the Vamo's outer diameter to be 22mm. Looking at the pic on my 13" screen, the Vamo is about 13mm wide and the carto is 36mm long, which would make it a 60mm XL (22mm/13mm*36mm). I know that they exist, but I don't often see them for sale on UK websites. Might be easier to come by in the US, though...

I agree with you Bad on using a tank carto. I use a 5ml tank with 3-hole punched 1.5 ohm dual coil cartomizers. I go about 12-14 hours without a need to add eliquid.

But I use to use regular cartos but ones that were clear so I could easily see when to add more eliquid. Here is an example:

Dual Coil Clear Mega XL Cartomizer

you can use 510 drip tips with almost any carto-atty thats a 510
510, 808 and 901 all have the same inner diameter, so a drip tip made for one will fit all three.

801, 306, eGo Mega, eGo Type A and eGo Type B all take specialized drip tips. I'm sure there are other exceptions, but those are the ones I'm aware of.
