Why do I feel OLD, all of the sudden?????
And, oh yes, the text messages I have read could fill that DYAC website for HOURS.
The single best came when she was trying to tell me that something was "hysterical!". I picked up my phone, after hearing a beep, and looked at it. Her message contained one simple word. It said:
"HYSTERECTOMIES!"
I honestly thought she'd finally lost her mind, and immediately phoned her to ask WHY she texted that to me. She was laughing so hard that I it took five minutes before I was able to figure it all out.
OMG, that must have been two years ago, and no, she'll NEVER live it down. Mainly because it's just one of a very long line...
That would indicate an end to the thread, JMarca - and we can't have that.
Since I already know I'm not the only person here who knows it, I'll bring THIS round to an end. I'm not sure that I'll have time to post a continuation though, so I may have to pass my turn. That being said, IF @classwife has something good in her vape case, she can take it (since she obviously knows the answer).
It IS a lanyard, indeed. But that's not what he's looking for. The addition of the carto inside, instead of a KR808 battery (for which it was intended) means that it's about to be used for...(drum roll, please!)...

Yes, people actually did this ridiculous maneuver to get the juice pushed down to the bottom of a 1ml carto, after top filling it.
It was kind of silly, especially when considering the much easier solution, which was... (smaller drum roll, please!)...

Now the best part was watching ME, known to make a mess of even the simplest things, trying this (Taryn Spin) for the one-and-only time that I did it. It was more a thing of curiosity than anything else. Well, I guess I didn't quite tighten things down enough, and the next thing I knew, there was a flying carto - and juice all over my walls. Or maybe I spun the dang thing too fast - I have NO idea. But I wasn't about to try it again. Condoms, please.

Indeed, it is The Taryn Spin, was also used to dry cartos after an attempt to clean them. I had pretty much the same results as you DP.
I'll pass on the "Lantern", I have a few myself.

Having now received confirmation, and with precious minutes to spare, "WHAT IS THIS?"
It comes with just a couple of hints. It might be an easy one - I do not know. But if I didn't have one, I wouldn't know it from diddly-squat.
- This is the backside of the "thing". The front side SAYS what it is, so I had to spin (not Taryn) it around, so as not to give it away.
- It has a function, but also was given a proper name (they are related). Bonus points for getting the proper name too, which is (just coincidentally) something that Martha Stewart might have had, at one point of her existence.
- It is something that has a finite lifespan. Mine, in fact, no longer functions. I only hold onto it because I thought it was a neat little invention. I wish they still made them, in fact (I don't believe you can find them anymore).

What I always wonder is... do "smart" phones not allow you to turn off auto-correct, or spelling tips, or anything? Because that's the VERY first thing I do in any browser or email client or text editor I've ever used; it's so dang annoying to either have it change what you type, or put a squiggly red line under every word it doesn't recognize.
If it won't let you turn off that annoying behavior, how on earth can it claim to be a "smart" phone?!?!?!?!Andria

It wasn't all that long ago that I started, Jan/Feb 2014... and 11w, 15w mods were basically "it" -- though there was the Sigelei Legend, a whopping 20w, and gosh it was expensive.
Now there's 200w mods and sub-ohm tanks... and the latter begs the question, why do you need to sub-ohm when you have a gazillion watt mod??? Andria
Same here. I saw that video that Grimm did and after doing a lot of reading on here, decided that was the way to go for my first PV. I still have that original one. Not sure if it works still but I am keeping it for memory sake.
I really wanted to get the ProVari but couldn't justify the cost for something that I didn't know would work to finally kick smoking. Nothing else was ever successful. When I figured out that vaping would work, then
, hubby bought me one for Christmas that same year. Haven't looked back since. It wasn't the tube that helped me get off cigs, it was the thing that you put on the tube. For me it was the Vivi Nova that turned that corner for me. Simplistic and easy. A new vapers dream set up, for me at the time.

We have just scratched the surface.
Wait til you see what battery tech allows us to do 5 yrs from now.
Heck, I put 2.5 horse power through an under 4 pound car by remote control pulling 180 amp peaks from small lithium batteries every time I pull our the RCs with the kiddos.
Vaping hasn't even opened the envelope yet. Let alone push it...

It is because people are pushing the limits that we are able to achieve better developed devices. Even tootle puffer devices get better with the technology that is required by the more extreme sector. It is all related.
If it weren't for those pushing, we wouldn't have half the stuff for tootle-puffing that we have now.
I'm glad that there are those that are pushing to see what can be accomplished next. It is making my life much easier. I love the fact that because the high wattage vapers need more power, they have developed batteries that can handle it. Which just trickles down to me and now my batteries last far longer than they used to.
Yeah, they have a place in the scheme of things.
