There are two attys that have decks like it. Made by two different companies. A hint and mystery at the same time![]()
Damm!
I almost bought this thing some time back.
Then about a month or two later tried to actually do just that. Couldn't find it ANYWHERE. Dunno if that's more because I couldn't remember what it was called or because it was already off the market now.
Don't think I've ever seen it pictured closed up and from the back side to recognize it that way though.
Either way, my memory's horrible.

In that case, feel free to send one my way. When I crank up the soldering iron next time, I'll assemble it for you and send it your way.It shall remain, as all RBs do, a mystery to me, Roxy.
Have at it, RB'ers!
Interestingly, or boringly enuf, I became enchanted today with the entire notion and history of this little gadget.
I decided to poke around the Interwebz and see what I could find out. One search led to another, and eventually, believe it or not, I found the creator of the Cell Mate.
A true gentleman, and a sweetheart, he is. I wrote him and he replied. He was the owner of the company that used to carry them. He closed his business as his life went into a completely different direction: baby! With the little bundle of joy in his life, he needed to move away from vending.
There are no companies carrying this at the moment, but if you have a soldering iron, he will supply instructions to DIY.
All I have is a flat iron. Guess I'm out.![]()
Thank you, beck. I think mine may last awhile tho, hopefully!
I made a couple of doohickeys once,,, in high school.
Had to go to detention.
Well...that was a good and entertaining guess, but nope.
Try again![]()
