3 30mm veritas
backup is 3 30mm magmas

got 2 vamos; (my zmax needs fixing)
backup is 2 Astros and 3 chiyou's, 1 king; got more backup but plan to put them away because different threads - nemesis, stingray, poldiac, m16, privatev2, paps

I have a subtank plus on the way, and 10 spare rba heads for it; and I hope the 10 spare subtank glass tanks which I do have will fit the subtank plus.
If I'm happy with the subtank plus then I'll get another 2 or 3 and that should be my main vape.

Heh, you guys are going to hate me for saying this, but my backup equipment is my old ego style pen and a protank 3 mini
I resurrected all my old Protank-style gear as "backups" to my Sigelei mini/Buddha mini setup. But I use the Ego/EVODs and PT2 just as much as the other these days!

The cracked EVOD and four year old 650mah EGO are relegated to kayak duty, of course. I would be only slightly miffed to lose that to the mighty Hudson.

I have 11 mainly box mods in front of me, all with tanks or drippers attached.
ATM the evic VT is my latest acquisition and so my main mod, with a Lemo 2 and Ti coil, blowing clouds.
The bamboo rayon wick makes all the difference, so much better than ... cotton.
My first backup would be a VF DNA 40, also with a Lemo 2, and Ni coil.
Second backup would be a dual 18650 custom mod, with a kangertech subtank, kanthal occ.
Then the x2 Delta II's on a smok m65 mod, and a defender 25watt mods.
If I still need backups after they all failed, I'll quit vaping.

Chipotle.
Here's all the stuff that sits next to my desk waiting to be used when one of my six daily devices goes down. Right now I won't bother with the closet, that stuff is backup for backup hahaha...help me!

Don't get me started on batteries, wire, wick material or drip tips either...I've got the sickness for sure.

I have dozens of different high end mechanical mods, some with sectional tubes and others with full sets of different sized tubes, and handfuls of different sized batteries that I could use as backups. I primarily use 18350 batteries but I have enough fully charged 14500s, 18500s, and 18650s to last for maybe two weeks.

I have about ten different quality RTAs that I regularly rotate through and enjoy and a bunch of others that I don't like so much that I could get out of storage and set up if need be. I also have about a half dozen high end RDAs that I seldom use, and another half dozen different IGO models and others in storage that could be serviceable as well.

I have a handful of different eliquids that I really enjoy and regularly vape and although I try to order more of each kind before I run low, I also have dozens of bottles of other eliquid that I find okay and some that I don't like so much but would be willing to vape. I never really got into DIY, but I have enough supplies, PG, VG, flavoring, and 100mg nicotine in the freezer to last for years.

I have enough wire and wicking material to last for years and I don't think that I'll ever have a problem finding something to vape with.

In one year of vaping I did not have even a single failure (three of my mods cost each $25, one $36), so my backups are not really backups but insurance, saved for possible rainy day for vapers.
No clearos/tanks failures also (the most expensive one is $25).
I enjoy buying cheap things that work perfectly. Call it a hobby.

P.S. Actually I have a little problem with my the most expensive mod, Sigelei 30 for $36 (does not fire one of my tanks). Too expensive, it believe.

There is for day to day backup, then there is self sufficiency. I have less gear than most people and it's more than enough for day to day. Self sufficiecy is a more complicated problem that worries me a little and interests me a lot.

The two items that would be challanging for self sufficiency are the atomizer and purified nicotine. By my calculation 2000 ml of 10% nic would last me 6-8 years if I could make the nic keep that long. So far I don't have a better solution for nicotine but there probably is one. Then I'd like to find or create an atomizer that most anyone could make with minimal tools and commonly available materials and put the design in the pubic domain (that could be an interesting design competition).

I tried to do a line up for a photo, but its kind of hard to get the lighting right for a picture like this. oh well.
Here are some of my backups:
7Xtzkef.jpg

I actually even have more backups, just in case I happen to lose all of those at exactly the same time, but it was getting hard to fit any more in the lineup.

its true, I am obsessed.

EDIT: on second thought, none of these are truly 'backups'. They are each different. If I lost any one of them, I would have to consider finding a replacement.
