What is your favorite Menthol?

Hi guys, still a newbie to the forums so this is the only place I can post. I am trying to find a good menthol for my hubby. The last one we got was so weak that he couldn't even taste it. I didn't find many reviews, only one menthol type flavor and it didn't sound too great. There are just so many sites with menthol, and I don't want to end up spending a bunch of money on another dud.

If you have any suggestions I'm all ears.

Which analog menthols did he smoke? Might help some folks steer you in the right direction. I was a menthol guy for 15 years, last 5 or so Marlboro Menthol Lights. I've not found a replica of that one in the 10 or so menthol juices I've tried, but found several I enjoy the same or even more. The Halo menthol flavors were great, some a bit more minty than menthol however, but I'm currently loving on the 'Imported tobacco Menthol' 24mg from Rockstar Vapor. Flavorwise, maybe my favorite so far. Doesn't have the massive TH of some others I've tried, but I find myself not really missing it that much when the flavor is so good. Also, the basic Menthol from Mr E Liquid is a favorite of mine.

Analog... hehe that sounds so funny to me. He used to smoke Marlboro Smooths, and I think he really enjoyed the arctic menthol from pure smoker... I'm trying to find just the flavor concentrate since we already have the nic juice and pg to cut it with. I found an arctic menthol from happy vaper but it's out of stock. I'm wondering if their regular menthol is good too. I found a review on here of their wintergreen which sounded like it didn't have a very strong flavor.

Personally I enjoy sweeter flavors (capella's cinnamon danish swirl, mmm) but what he really likes about the menthol is the coolness of it on his throat, so I was thinking of grabbing the Koolada on Happy Vaper but I'm not sure what to mix it with so that it's cool and minty, but not too overpowering.

We're still new to mixing our own juices so I'm always nervous we'll muck something up, it's not a cheap accident, lol.

I ordered my menthol from tastyvapor.us. The one i order is a doubler with just menthol without nicotine. I mixed it with my tobacco juice. I tried many manufacturer, brand, type, of tobacco. None of them taste like a cigarette. Some of us here mentioned that tobacco juice taste like a freshly opened cigarette. I figured that what we are missing is that nasty nasty taste of burning tobacco, the "BURNT" taste. So, I created this burnt taste myself.
I add couple of drops of black coffee favor (i made) in my 20ml tobacco juice. It creates the nasty burnt taste that i was looking for.

I found a method of making the black coffee favor here in ECF somewhere. Here is how:
1, I take a cup of those coffee cup for Keurig Brewers from my office. A lot of company have those machine in the office nowaday.
2, Make a small hole on top and inject 20 - 25 ml of PG in the cup. The top part is where the coffee ground is and there is a filter in the middle.
3, I let it sit (soak) for 2-3 days. Rotate / shake it once in a while.
4, After 3 days, pinch a hole at the bottom and use a syringe to get the liquid out.
5, I use this with my tobacco juice. It taste more like a real cigarette. add menthol as you want.

Don't try to vape the coffee liquid alone. It taste nasty.
I use Malted Milk and marshmallows from Perfumer's appentice to mix with the coffee and dilute it for vaping.

You're definitely one up on me, I'm still new-ish to vaping in general I'm still in the 'MUST TRY ALL FLAVORS NOW!' phase. Definitely go back to a menthol as the all day sucker though. I haven't tried anything from Happy Vaper yet, will definitely have to give them a whirl. I enjoy trying differing flavors a bit too much, the top shelf in my mancave went from having stacks of old books to rows of juice. (Impulse control issues anyone?)

For a sweeter flavor, I grabbed a small bottle of waffle from Rockstar. Scary good. Not quite wafflehouse waffle, but as close as I think you can get with just flavoring.

I understand your situation. I went thru the same painful trial and error learning curve as you do now. I only been vaping for 7 weeks. I still smoke 2-3 real cigarette a day. I don't mean to discourage you, but i spend way more money than if i stay smoking analog. But once you get pass the learning curve and have the right equipment for yourself, i figure only $0.5 to $1.0 day for vaping.

Puresmoker Silver leaf Menthol is a good balance of tobacco and menthol. (I like it, but it is better cut with a little bit of silver leaf tobacco to add to the tobacco flavor)

Halo TruePure menthol is my all day everyday and has been for months. It is a lighter menthol. Halo also has CoolMist for more menthol. IMO, Halo makes the best juice out there.

I was a menthol smoker for many years (camel turkish jade/camel menthol crush when the jades were discontinued) I've tried many menthol liquids so far and the only one I like so far is the Joye Menthol (cignot.com, 20ml for $12)

my brother likes the 555 menthol (appears to be dekang) but he doesn't remember where he ordered it from.

Have you tried Menthol Crystals yet? Sold by many in their DIY area. Heat them lightly/gently in some PG or juice of choice. Add a drop or two. If your worried about ruining juice, use a 3 ml dropper bottle to mix in.

You may wish to do a forum search for it... I don't really use em (menthol... blech )

HoneyvilleVapor Cowboy Smooth sounds like it may work for this. It's a very light refreshing mint. I use it to add a kick to certain flavors. All their sample sizes are .98 until the 18th also. So if you hurry you can try it on the cheap and maybe a couple other flavors too.
