Ok semiretired, ur def gonna be our go to coffe guru! :)

There was a learned madness behind my coffee fixation with vaping. When I started vaping (about 4 months ago) I like most vapers started with tobacco flavors. They were great, but I got stuck at 7 or 8 analogs a day and could not get lower. I thought about it and I was vaping tobacco and it just was not hitting the right spot - so I thought some more and bought some flavors to go with the tobacco mixes - I bought coffee, cappuccino, and cherry to accent the tobacco's. Hey I used to love a cup or coffee or cappuccino with my smokes and I liked cherry cigars. In no time I had cut down to 2 or 3 analogs a day (sometimes up to 5, but rarely). This required more thought - my decision was - since I was vaping tobacco I was keeping tobacco on my mind and it just was not satisfying the tobacco flavor that I was accustomed to after 35yrs+ of smoking.

So I started vaping the coffee, cappuccino and the cherry on their own. I could only handle the coffee - the others were to - I do not know - just not there by themselves. The coffee was great, but after about a week of vaping only coffee I was getting tired of it and still smoking a few analogs each day - so I added some cappuccino (good) and then I tried some with cherry (again good) - hmmm needed to place an order... What goes good with coffee - irish creme, brandy, amaretto & pastries (so I had cherry, but vanilla and chocolate are also good). I got my flavors and started trying more mixes (without tobacco flavors). A lot of experimentation and adding a few more flavors and I am hooked.

I am not only hooked my coffee mixes ---- I am off analogs.

My advice is find a juice that you do like, but cannot vape continuously and see what you can do with it... Your taste buds will appreciate it...and if your having trouble dropping those last few smokes - your problem might be the same as mine were - you are reminding yourself of what you used to enjoy and you are making yourself miss it...

Congrats on getting off the analogs Semi, that's wonderful! I get what ur saying bout the coffee vapes, hey, u know whatever it takes. Guess I am going to have to take back what I said about vaping the crab juice, if I had to choose between that and a cig, I would vape it!
Hopefully with the help of a few flavor profiles and help from u guys, that will never happen but u never know! I gotta go make sure I have plenty of juice and cartos......

Carbon, I find that peach can be a tricky lil bugger, and it sounds like ur first one was a winner which makes it hard because then u think they are all good and sadly they are not. I have had the same trouble with apple, I have yet to find a good clean crisp apple juice. They are to this or not enough that, and no steeping has helped. Guess it gives me an excuse to just eat one of the darn things, lol :)

I'm still pretty new at it, so this might be more interesting to me in a few months than it is to anyone else right now.

1) tobacco - unknown; avoiding on purpose

2) menthol - yes, better as a strong mint than as just menthol (Mints are the only thing I like strong)

3) coffee - yes, mostly, but not too much, and best with added flavors (even though I don't like real life flavored coffees). Home brew extraction is good but boring by itself.

4) bakery - OK mostly, but not too much. Just got a bunch more to try out)

5) cinnamon - yes, even better as secondary flavor.
-clove- yes I think, but figuring out what to blend with to make it better.

6) vanilla - yes, as secondary flavor

7) fruit - no, or almost no. They all taste way too artificial alone. A few are tolerable when _very_ mild added to green tea; Peach, apricot, blackberry, raspberry... will try others, and will try mixing in menthol/mint (thanks for the idea Cookster).

8) candy -
Chocolate- only with coffee so far;
fruits- no. Too artificial;
mints- yes;
butterscotch & caramel- a little as background with coffee.
Haven't tried others.

9) misc
Evergreen- Gin, Spruce, etc- yes in small doses, but need to play around for good mixes.
Truffle, mushroom- no, but good in food.
Bacon- no, tastes nothing like bacon :-X
Maple- not sure yet, maybe mixed with something else.
Hazelnut- yes, but will only be part of the crowd of coffee additions
Butter- unknown yet; I think Bavarian cream might have a little, it tastes good in mints and in coffees
Green tea- yes, as a blender
Anise- yes. might also help fruits or clove... hmmm....
Honey- with tea mixes, with mints it tastes like some kind of medicine :x

- I do like sweetness on the tongue, using sucralose, sweet flavors like vanilla/bakery things, and EM (Best). Funny because I don't like sweet foods or drinks much.
- I have to mix most things very dilute, too sensitive to strong flavorings
- my vaping tastes are very different from my food or smoking tastes in some ways, but then I never went around putting tobacco flavor in my tea or biscuits when I was smoking, either.

What I'm really hooked on right now is a strong peppermint with a little extra menthol and hints of both cinnamon and vanilla that come through as lingering sweet aftertastes.

I like having this all listed out, thanks! It gives me better ideas of where to go from here in experimenting.

hey Lethalp, this is a good idea!! I'll add mine :)

1) tobacco - tried a few, loved BWB Applewood, not many others though, apprehensive about trying others.

2) menthol - don't care for it unless it is added lightly to compliment a flavor.

3) coffee - love coffee vapes, mainly ones mixed with vanilla, caramel, more latte/mocha type than straight black coffee.

4) bakery - yes but sparingly, after dinner treat or what not.

5) cinnamon - yes but not by itself.

6) vanilla - oh yes. this one mixes well with a ton of flavors.

7) fruit - yep, love fruit vapes.

8) candy - haven't delved much into the candy realm yet.

9) misc - lemonaid and teas. I do like absinthe and amaretto as well.

I'm looking for a strawberry that doesn't taste like powdered Kool-aid nor candy. By itself is fine as I have juices I can mix with it. A straight raspberry would be nice as well.

Smoked for 40+ years from 1 to 3 PAD . . . Doral Menthols exclusively for 35 years.

I like -----
1) tobacco: full aromas - currently "Hickory Virginia"

2) menthol: lightly - currently "Blue Ice"

3) coffee - not a big fan for vaping - competes with what I'm drinking :)

4) bakery - nope - calories or not, it would find it's way to my mid-section

5) cinnamon - not for me

6) vannila - uh, no

7) fruit - definitely not for me

8) candy - notta - see "bakery"

9) misc - a touch of mocha or chocolate mixed in on occasion for a flavor shake-up

I vape about 4 or 5 mil a day, mixing pre-made juices to my preference about 50 mil at a time

Yeah so far I do not like the peach at all, I get absolutely no peach taste from it at all, just a sickeningly sweet sticky taste in my mouth...

Cynder, I bought a strawberry sampler pkg from FSUSA, I think it had 5 flavors. I did like a couple of them, the strawberry twist and strawberry cream come to mind, but they did need to steep awhile. I also had a strawberry shortcake that I really liked, but right now I cannot remember where I got it from. Let me think a bit on that....

Tobacco and menthol mostly
No cinnamon, vanilla, bakery or candy
Mocha or choc ok as accent flavors

So, what are u looking for that u have not found yet?

Not really looking for a thing, although I enjoy trying different tobbacco flavors every once in a while . . . Happy as a CLAM being analog free and still puffing as I'd like! :vapor::vapor::vapor::vapor:

yea I have a couple in my sights to try, I understand strawberry is a bit more difficult to do kinda like cherry is. I don't want any candy/powdery taste just a nice fresh strawberry, I'll take a peek at FSUSA, if all else fails I have read in the DIY section the capella's are pretty good.

Well I've tried many flavors and combinations, but I always come back to ice menthol, "real" tobacco flavors, cappacino and a rich peach.
I was a Misty Menthol light smoker.
1.) Tobacco- Really enjoy Freedom and the Kentucky blends
2.) Menthol- Ice Menthol is my daily vape + Peachy menthol when I have it
3.) Coffee- cappacino and a few cofee blends (House) are favorites of mine
4.) Bakery- occasionally, usually a cookie flavor, not too sweet. Pumpkin pie is an occasional vape
5.) Cinnamon- fire & ice, but others burn my nose
6.) Vanilla- haven't found a good one this time
7.) Fruit- peach, if its deep and rich - or in a tobacco blend. Also cherry, not too sweet though.
8.) Candy- No, not yet
9.) Misc.- a blend of 555 and menthol that I came up with to stretch out the last of my menthol. Currently trying plain VG to reset my tastebuds - too early to tell but it vapes good :)
