Hi All! I'm new here and hope I'm doing this right. I purchased a KR-808D and a Vapor King 510 from a company I'm not happy with. It was a nightmare to get all I ordered and still have not received everything after over 6 weeks. Anyways, hubby and I have decided we both like the 510 model the best. I need a good company to order from. I'm hoping that I don't have to do business with the one I bought the 2 kits from. I want to order another 510 model and some accessories. Can you help me? Feel free to email me as I'm not sure how to find replies to my post here. Thanks in advance!

The 510 for vapor, smoothness, and consistency ... and penstyle (DSE801 mainly, but I'm trying BE112 and M201) for throat hit, but not for consistency*. Both deliver good flavor. And, if it weren't for the expense, I'd add in the KR808D-1 with GreenCig carts (they really are quite wonderful).

* I do get consistency when I attach the 801 or 112 attys to my Prodigy (but I've come to learn that I'm a 3.7V, slender PV kind of guy).

I do love my 510, but my experience with TH is so different from most: I get hardly any at all. I'm getting more TH with my new super-mini M702 (which, otherwise, I'm not in love with).

These days, you can get a 510 from almost any supplier. Cignot is well thought of and may have the best price ($35 for their "no box" kit). I've had many successful dealings with Rocky Mountain Vapor, which seems to have the best price on the PCC ($23 + free shipping).

If you factor in the two 6 ml bottles of juice included and their 10% Coupon code for ECF Members (saveinnj), NHaler's $47 Starter Kit and $75 Elite Kit (including PCC) are good deals. And they have an intriguing solution to the 510's 150 mAh battery: the $18 Kr808D-1 Manual Mega 380 Mah Battery plus $14 KR808D-1 battery to 510 atomizer Adapter. [I expect that it will wind up looking more like a penstyle.] And you can use whatever Kr808D-1 cartomizers you have (without the adapter) on that battery.

[In the interest of full disclosure, Drew at NHaler "bribed" me with e-cig goodies to write a 510 Guide for him (now almost completed). However, I receive no commission or consideration for any sales or referrals ... darn it!:(]

There are many other good suppliers for the 510. Those are ones I'm most familiar with, which have both good service and good prices.

My favorite is the Penstyle RN4072 ( today) LOL.. among other penstyle's. I have went thru all the new raves and followed the new thing's,over the last year I have a junk drawer full of parts that work then don't.... but the Penstyle is just so consistent and sends out great vapor, and may I say cheap to up keep !!! and lets not forget it comes in Betty Red..LOL

Penstyle for me. I like the RN4072 for use with the standard battery. Will use the BE112 for HV vaping. I also use the RN4062 e-Cigar on a daily basis as well. Both are my models of choice due to long lasting batteries, large carts, great flavor & vapor production.

I've tried pretty much everything out there and always come back to the Penstyle as my main PV.

I'm with you on the RN4072, I used to like BE112's but think the 4072's work better.

I have a dse901 mini. I like it a lot. I haven't had any problems. However I don't use it that often. Once in a while. I am eying other modules to buy. I'm interested in a Volcano ecig. I was thinking about Blu but, since hearing bad things about them forget it. I like that Volcano ships in 24 hours. I like that in a business! I also want to get lots of 0nic juices to experiment with. So I get the hang of it. I'm hoping the juices will cure me of my sweet tooth. :(

I use 901's, 801's and 510's and I like them all for different reasons on different mods.

With the advent of the new atomizers coming on the market I have found that several of the mods that I could not vape at 6v because they would taste too harsh, I can now vape. They run cooler and improve the taste of the liquids.

Yeah, keeping all the attys and carts in stock costs me more but it's worth it.

Well, I only have tried two: Health E-Cigarette and Joye 510.

The Health E was a joke ... I would have a ton of vapor to where I was coughing a few drags .. then dead. Also, it did not taste that great.

The Joye 510 ... wow .. aside of the battery life, which I alieviated by getting 4 batteries and 2 chargers is just great. There could be something better I guess, but i love this thing.

used to swear by my 510!

now its gone by the wayside (along with my pithy 901) for the illustrious 808! By far my FAV PV! best VAPOR! best FLAVOR! best battery LIFE! gorgeous PCC! and the ease of use blows all other models ive tried out of the water!

When you say "808" you mean the KR808D-1 two-piece, right? You really think its vapor production is better than the 510? With GreenCig carts, my experience is that they are comparable (i.e., equally excellent). With KR808D-1 carts: not bad, about the same as the M702/Revolver (although sucking on the M702 is more of an effort). Throat hit on the KR808D-1 is very good: much better, in my experience, than the 510; and perhaps slightly better than the penstyle.

I'm surprised you describe its PCC as "gorgeous." According to a video review I saw, it is effective, but the case is simply the ubiquitous $5 black metal carrying case. Of course, gorgeous is in the eye of the beholder.

Colonel, to what "new atomizers" are you referring? The only breakthrough atty I'm aware of is Carlos49's.

I've had my Vapor4Life Vapor King for a little over a month, and have been delighted with it. Refilling the cartomizers makes them quite economical, and the battery life, particularly the XL's, is terrific. I'm starting to use the PT now when I'm sitting in front of the computer, really digging it. I'm considering getting a battery mod, perhaps a Bartleby, primarily to just have an alternative off-the-shelf battery available, in case the supply of goods is interrupted down the road. That would also give me the option of a drip-capable atomizer for testing juice mixes. But I like the convenience and performance of the cartomizers, can't envision switching.

I started with the Green Smoke but stopped using it after about a month, I found the battery life to be horrible and the cost of the carts too much.

Now I vape with a 510: With the right cart mod vapor production is a-okay. As already mentioned, the battery life is so-so. To compensate for this I use 5 batts, a pcc and 2 chargers. However, that being said, I get about 80 good draws from a batt before it needs a recharge and the 510 batts recharge in about 1 hour (5 batts may seem a bit extreme but better to have xtras just in case). So is the battery life really that bad?

Now that I have figured it out, I am sticking with it.
