What is your PG/VG level? Why?

I am still trying to find the right balance for me.
I've gone with 70PG/30VG and it's been fine.
Decent throat hit... Nice vapor...
I've sampled some 100%VG juices and hated the flavor.
It seemed too earthy (if that makes sense).

I would like to understand why people choose their specific ratios.

Lots of PG for more throat hit
Not too much VG else I will have problem dripping into my atomizer
Just enough VG to produce more vapor

100% PG here as it gives me the best throat hit and faster nicotine delivery (subjective) than higher-VG mixes. I haven't experimented with DIY recipes using VG but the pre-filled cartos I started on were probably at least 75/25, maybe 50/50 or worse, and I no longer get a satisfying hit off them, just lots of showy vapor. For me vaping is all about the throat hit and nicotine delivery, not the 'looks like an analog' shtick used on cigalikes. Besides, it seems even 100% PG gives pretty good vapor using a 5v mod, and I really only vape at my desk or when out walking at night, so seeing a big cloud makes absolutely zero difference to me.

100% VG because I am apparently one of the lucky few that is very sensitive to inhaled PG. even at 10/90 I break out in a mild but annoyingly itchy rash.

I've tried from 100% VG to 100% PG

I currently vape at 50/50, but I'm just now trying out a Kanger Protank, so I may adjust if it wick too much or too little.

I'm not a big fan of throat hit, and PG is a bit harsh, but too much vg sometimes gives me a soapy taste, so for now 50/50 it is!

Another PG sensitivity here. Dries out my sinus passages and gives me a sore throat. Upside is, since there are far fewer 100% VG options, finding the ADV is far less confusing and expensive.

I use 80/20 because of the TH and it doesn't gum up my delivery devices, cartos., heads etc.

I've never had issues with either (lucky me i guess). I've heard though sometimes max VG makes peoples chest feel heavy (never experienced this), and I've heard some people having allergic symptoms with high amounts of PG (also never experienced).

Again, I guess I'm just a lucky one

It depends on the flavor of the liquid. Johnson Creek's Domestic is 100% VG and it's awesome. Dekang's Desert Ship is 100% PG and it's awesome, too. I have other flavors in my daily rotation with varying ratios. I had to cut a bottle of PG based 24mg liquid with some VG because the TH was too much. Now, that liquid is awesome.
