I DIY and mix at 85% PG to 15% VG. I like that PG carries flavors more "cleanly" and has a stronger throat hit. Also, it's thinner, so it doesn't clog up my atomizers, syringes, and other equipment etc. as quickly. VG and I don't get along very well. Not only do I not like the rather "oily" sickly sweet taste it imparts to my juice, it also tends to coat my sinuses and throat...causing a lot of post nasal dripping, choking and a feeling of tightness in my chest. I do use the 15%...which is very little...for only ONE reason: to pump up the vapor production a little.

I've heard there were some studies in France showing that PG produces formaldehyde when vaped, not sure if this is true, but in my opion straight VG is a better choice for safety and health. As for vaping in general, I am curious to try a 70 percent VG and 30 percent distilled water combo.

A blend of 70/30, 50/50, 30/70 will prob do just fine without having any issues.

A lot of sugary stuff and syrupy stuff is going to clog your wick more so than the base solution.

Hummm.. I get a lot of post nasal dripping but i've never even thought it maybe be because of my juice/vaping. I do have allergies so I just thought it was dust or something in the air I may try a bit higher PG to see if it helps any Thanks!!

I change it all the time, I started off with a consistent 50/50 , I've made some juices that are 100 % VG and a few that are 85 / 15 PG/ VG. I enjoy having options to choose from , sometimes I wanna blast thick vapour clouds and so I switch to the 100 % VG. Half the fun is mixing and matching and being inconsistent in your tastes :D
