Hey all, just wanted to see what most people like for their choice of juice and share with you my experience and trials/lessons learned.

First off, I'd like to say that it was my buddies at work who were the ones to introduce me to the Reo Grand, and I'm glad I listened and pulled the trigger on it. I was a smoker for around 14yrs, and when my son was born I decided to quit smoking as I didn't want that habit around him as an infant. I had quit for 4 1/2 yrs, when one night at work I caved and had my first smoke again. That was a huge mistake and led to me smoking again up until recently. I currently serve in the US Air Force, stationed in Southern Georgia. I'm a engine mechanic and work on the flight line in a shop that consists of 3 different career fields, I work with aircraft electricians, and avionics technicians. I'm in a management position and I guess I let my stress get the best of me, which in turn leads me to believe that's why I started smoking again. It was sorta like my own escape, I could step out away from certain people, have a relaxing smoke, recoup and go back to work. I finally decided two months ago enough was enough and had expressed to my friends that I wanted to quit again, but I didn't want to do it cold turkey. Many of them suggested that I try vaping, and many of them already had a reo grand, some others have your tube mods and gadgets like that. Anyway, I finally decided you know what...I'll give it a try and I visited a local vapor store and picked up a mvp2 starter kit, tank, and some juice. The first two days, everything was great...juice tasted good (I picked up vanapple wood - thevaporhut.com sells the one I use) until the third day, that's when I started experiencing problems. I was ......, three days into it and I had already had my first tank leak, and the coil burned out. Then I found out it's like $16 for 5 coils, and I know I'll have to change them every 3 days, that didn't go over well with me. Mean while, my buddies were like you realize that's money waisted, the store won't take back your stuff now that you've used it. Needless to say, they were right....I went home that night grabbed the iPad, and placed my first order thru reos mods. 4 days later I had my reo, the best decision ever to get this thing. Luckily, my friends at work who all own reos helped me get everything started. I had ordered a bundle of wire online, as well as batteries and a charger. I actually received my batteries a day before the reo arrived and I got my wire the same day as the reo. Unfortunately I waited another week until the charger finally showed up, but I just had my buddies charging my batteries for me those couple of days. Once I got the reo I immediately jumped into the sub ohm building. One thing I noticed when I had the MVP2, was that I realized I was a lung hitter. One of the problems I kept having over and over again was that I would flood the drip tip and get juice that I had sucked up all in my mouth, guess I wasn't allowing it to burn off the crappy 1.8ohm coil I had in there. Also, it wasn't airy enough and I hardly got any vapor. I just wasn't pleased with that setup. Once I picked the color of my LP grand, my buddy was like don't even question me, I know which atty you need to order and it's the RM5. Don't question it, just do it...so I did, and I gotta say i love it. Dual coils, tons of air, big vapor, good flavor...it's simply perfect. I'm also, glad I spent some money on my batteries and got Sony VTC5s, one of my friends who ordered his reo LP grand a day after me messed up and ordered some ....ty effect batteries and he said there already giving him problems. He said he's gonna order some of the Sony vtc's too. Anyway, I'm glad to have such an awesome support group at work, and now at home with this forum. As far as juice, I have found my own place to shop and it's called thevaporhut.com. My very first order from them, I left a comment saying I was vaping 6mg, but I selected 12mg because I didn't think 6mg was enough, but I was worried that it would have a harder throat hit. I was ordering 100ml of juice and the store actually called me and we were able to decide to make a 9mg batch instead of 12mg. I was surprised that they would even consider calling me, making sure it was in fact what I wanted. Then I received the order in the mail like 4/5 days later, fast shipping. I paid $56, $50 for the 100ml bottle and $6 for shipping. Then once I opened the package I found out that they gave me 3 different free samples, those three were some of their best sellers, and each sample bottle they gave me was 20ml bottles all custom batch made to 9mg. So, really I paid $56, and ended up getting 160ml juice total in four different flavors. I thought that was awesome, oh yeah there was also a free sticker and a coozie with their logo on it in the package. This last order I place about a week ago, I mentioned another free sample and they gave me a free 30ml bottle of juice to try along with everything I ordered. So, like I said thevaporhut.com, that's where I get all my juice, and so far I haven't had a flavor I didn't like, they've all been good. I do have my favorites though which are vanapple wood and mossy oak. Wooky cookie and P.M.S. both are pretty good as well. I know this is so long, I had a lot I wanted to share. I hope you take the time to read it, and please let me know which juice you all prefer.

Couple of my friends also order thru backwoods brew, and one of my friends who helped me make my final decisions when ordering my reo and atty, he actually makes his own juice and it's not bad at all. It doesn't have any nic in it though, but still really good.

I switch the juice in my Reos almost daily between quite a few different flavours and companies. Quick top list in no particular order:
Cola, Rootbeer, Pluid, blue raspberry, honey tobacco, watermelon.
I plan on ordering a new rda next week and have been eyeing up the Rm5, would look nice on my Kawasaki reo to! Or dat Odin....

Congrats!

I vape nicoticket too... I recently got some unflavored and have one reo dedicated to that and I have been cutting the flavors with that too - about 50/50... the flavor is still there and I actually prefer it, because I can taste the flavor more consistency throughout the day. I am starting to understand the concept of "less is more" I guess... I got the unflavored from My Freedom Smokes...

Awesome looking reo and atty!

Congrats on the new REO. Wise decision to get one before you spent a lot on other mods.
Right this minute I have MrE Neptune in one and Vapor Chef Beetle Blox a tobacco flavor very tasty in another.
I think I will look up the vapor
hut though and see what they have. Sounds like a great place to shop. Enjoy the new reo.

Yeah, my wife supported me when I initially got the first PV, and she still supported me when I told her I wanted the REO a week later, lol. She gladly took over the MVP2, she was content with it a lot longer than I ever was, about a month and a half so far. Just recently, she has started getting ...... about using it, I think her turning point was the day she filled the tank with her favorite juice, (PMS from thevaporhut) about one hour later she went to grab the mod and realized all her precious juice leaked out the tank. She was ......, and probably lost about 5ml of juice. Then her coil burnt out and we didn't have extra replacements at the time. I told her to grab a spare bottle for my REO, and try to salvage what little juice she had left in the tank and pour it in the bottle. Then we took the remaining juice she had and topped the 6ml bottle off. After that, I decided to re-coil/re-wick mine, and then I put her bottle in and let her vape off it. She was a happy camper after that, lol...gawd I love that woman. It's her birthday coming up, and I haven't told her, but I plan on ordering her a LP grand next month. So it's reo #2, although it's not for me, lol. I asked her what color she would of chose instead of the Kawasaki green I chose, and she said if I ever get one I want one in candy apple red. She doesn't know yet but I have her reomizer 5, two extra bottles, and button cover on the way right now, and it should be here Thursday. Gonna have to get to the mail box as soon as I get home, before she checks it.

Nice story, jetMac. It's great that you had a crew of knowledgeable vapers around you to get started. Landing in Reoville on your second try is a quicker route than most of us in here took (sad to say), so count your blessing there.

Very cool that you're hooking your wife up with a reo as well :toast:

As for juice, you're going to hear a bunch from 2 groups: the Nickoticket crowd and the unflavoured gaggle. Myself, I live in Canada and about the only juice I use that you'd hear of is Mount Baker Vapor - love me some Hawk Sauce or Twin Mint. It's imported and resold here through a local vendor. 6 mg nic is my tipple.

Thanks for sharing your tale and make yourself at home. Lots to see and read and you sound like you're going to have a story or two more to share.

I spent more than 2 1/2 years using AVE 555 as my primary juice. - I used to keep more flavors than Baskin Robbins on the shelf for a little dripping before bed.

I recently switched to unflavored. I like it. My primary juice is now 100% VG 18mg. ---> Currently on the flavor shelf is some AVE 555 - AVE Blueberry Crumble - AVE Hype (highest recommendation for that one) - BWB Applewood - BWB Vanilla Bean (steeped a loooooonnnnnnggggg time, about 14 months, and it's delicious) - TopVapor Black Licorice - Some DIY Grape my wife's cousin gave me a while back - and 4 flavors from a brick and mortar they probably mix in the alley=Root Beer, Huckleberry, Fireball, and Orange Tac.

I've tried to move a bunch of Cutter but seems hard to do these days; no takers. I'd use it to cut the full strength Pluid. I still have 100 ml.
I used to vape nothing but Pluid for a year; when it was hard to get lol.

I'm making my own DIY mostly but I make sure i have a good one in my Reo's. Vaping Pencil now in one, and Bamski Lychee in another.

Nicoticket Crème Brulee and DIY sweet cream. I'm coming out of a fruity kick and enjoying a sugary sweet creamy vape.

Nice to meet you JetMac and thanks for sharing your story. I wish I had had people around me to help when I first started vaping. I had a lot of trouble in the very beginning and like you didn't like that cost of those dang replacement coils for my vivi nova. It sounds like you are all set and well on your way to success. Congratulations on quitting

I have NT H1N1 in one Reo, actually the only flavor that Reo has seen, NT Wakonda in another. I only buy from Nicoticket now, but have a lot of other juices I've picked up along the way including around 600mg of freebies from Vape Blast. I also have a batch of unflavored which I use to dilute or vape straight up.

Welcome to the mad house of happy vapers. Congrats on the Kaw Green LP. My copper vein has only had Gorilla Juice in it ( I ordered a liter of it) not the AVE stuff something much better. 5 pawns Gambit, and Grandmaster, Smurf Pooh, (name changed to give the censors nothing to do) Mad Cow, (I call it ex-wife) Millennium, Killa Vanilla, MBV Afternoon Delight, and Unflavored. I have a lot of Reos and usually something different in all of them. I have a few other flavors but those are my main ones. Thanks for your service I've done it myself long ago. Great story too!
