Dave! There's the silver lining! There is nothing in this world like a grandbaby. God's reward for keeping your kids around no matter how bad you wanted to give them to somebody else! Just teasing..I loved my kids...really!

LOL, MK that's a good one that I can totally relate to. But then my eldest son left for college and I was a mess! I can't wait for grandbabies, no wait, I'm only 37 I can wait! LOL

All of these stories are so awesome! This was a really good thread to read. As for me, I ordered a starter kit from V4L thinking I was just going to try them out, quit later. When I got it, I smoked a couple of analogs the first few days and haven't smoked one since, I'd say, the 4th day. It just happened, and I'm so grateful. I've been around other heavy smokers and it doesn't even bother me. My husband still smokes! Hopefully soon he's going to quit. He says he is soon.

If he is smoking around me, I tell him he's making me want to start again! >Then I get the green light to order some more e-cig stuff!!!

I had one cigarette the morning my first Ultimate Ultimatum kit arrived. That was the last one I've had.

On my one month mark, I was outside with some smoking friends at work, and curiosity got the better of me, and I took one drag off a friend's cig, and about choked to death. I haven't had the desire for one since.

...But I am grumpy if I don't have a carto of Smilin' ready to go when I wake up. ;)

I still crave a cig on occasions after 40 something days. Most of the time its in the morning for some reason. What keeps me from slipping up? They smell nasty, they taste disgusting, I can't afford them(don't know how much longer I'm gonna be able to afford vaping), and I've made it this far. There is no way in hell I'm turning back now! I love my Blueberry, Watermelon, and Caramel Apple vapes way tooooooooo much.

Work hospice.

And steer your mind - just keep gently but firmly lifting your attention away from the notion that you're craving, etc., and lean into the brilliant fact that you're getting your nicotine hit, ah, and it's lovely, etc., with each vape. I chain-vaped initially. Oh, OK, I still chain vape. Never did have cravings, I sort of forbade the idea to receive any attention from me, and like many in here I was a HEAVY smoker who'd tried everything. I'm as bad as the anti-smoker fanatics nowadays, re sensitivity, anyway. I can smell a smoker walking into a room and it makes me gag. Hang in.

I ran out of carts before my replacemant order came in (I, too, am a chain vaper), so bought a pack of analogs to get me through. Smoked part of one, threw the rest away, they tasted TERRIBLE!!!!! I can honestly say I like vaping so much I never craved an analog, one of the lucky ones, I guess. Good thing, too. In Chicago analogs are almost 10 bucks a pack.
The other thing is finding my "go to" vape. For me, if I pop on a Peppermint carto and vape as much as I need to I can get past just about any craving I have.
Wow! This is exactly the strategy that finally got me off analogs, completely, too! It didn't happen right away, though. In the beginning, I was able to cut down from 15 Newports a day (a 23 year habit) to only 2 or 3, within the first 2 weeks of vaping. It was the "after meals" ones that I thought I just had to have and didn't know if I'd ever be able to give up. It took 15 months before my epiphany! I was amazed to discover that if I started vaping IMMEDIATELY after a meal (24 or 36mg of my favorite flavor, Peppermint) my body had absolutely NO desire to go smoke an analog BECAUSE my brain was getting PLENTY of nicotine:) It seems like it should have been easy, but the hardest part for me was convincing myself to pick up my VK rather than go to the drawer that my pack of cigarettes were in:) That little adjustment took about 10 days to get used to but it is second nature to me now and I really don't think I'll ever smoke another analog! *HUGE Gratitude and LOVE to Steve and the whole V4L team, as I credit their product with my continued success!!!*

I love to smoke but for me the issue is simple; I can't smoke the new cigarettes. Smoking FSCs makes me feel like I have the flu. Then I found vaping. Vaping is everything about smoking that I enjoyed and more. Now I love vaping. No worries and no regrets. It doesn't even bother me to be around people smoking cigarettes cause vaping's better! (I still love the smell of cigarette smoke though, lol)

Yup.....FSC is what started me down this road. FSC cigs never tasted right and caused me all sorts of grief. Just generally made me dissatisfied with smoking.
