I'm in the market for a new kick, but there are so many that I don't know what's authentic and what's a clone. Even if it's a clone I don't care as long as it's good. What kind of kicks are you guys using and what do you think is best?

None of the kicks have a high enough wattage limit to make me happy. If they made a 30W kick, that would have me whipping out my credit card. Even better if it's in 26650 form factor.
I believe the original Kick is made by Evolv who also makes the dna boards. I know SmokTech makes them too but I don't think they were the first. Evolv makes the Kick 2 now. I don't personally own a kick because 15 watts is a little too low for me and I don't really use my mech mods anymore now that they have high wattage box mods. Also the Kick isn't compatible with all mechs either.
They did, it was called the DNA 20. Then, they did the kick 4 (DNA 30) and now they're up to the kick 5 (DNA 40). It's a shame they abandoned tube mods.
If they developed a DNA 40 that was round instead of rectangular, and left the screen off, I'd definitely buy some of those and stick them in my mech mods.
I just happen to be using an Evolv Kick-2 right now. Nice thing about the Kick-2 is it allows you to turn the power DOWN!! Mine is set to deliver 3.35v (1.25 ohms @ 9 watts) With a clone Kick or DNA board, the battery would need charging before it would set to my desired wattage.
