What kind of builds can I use on my mod?

Hello,

I use this mod:MEL VV Box Mod

I'm going to order a few rda's and supplies to start building but I need to know how low I can go with resistance? The mod specs say it can handle as low as 1.5's but I'm very interested in building macro coils after watching Riptrippers Macro-Coil video. His build with the 24g comes out to .32 though. Would a .32 coil work on my Beast Box if I turned the voltage way down?

Some box mods have an ohm meter built in and will not fire below a specified resistance. I could not find whether the beast box does this. Of importance is the 6A limit. I=V/R
So, at 4V your min resistance would be .67 ohms.
The max voltage under load is stated at 5.4V. So, with fresh batteries, turned all the way up, the min resistance would be .9 ohm.

If the beast mod doesn't detect resistance and prevent firing below a specified resistance, you should always be good if you stay above 1ohm.

The specs for this box mod say its limited to 6 amps. At .32ohms, you're pulling over 20amps. 1) theres not indication the batteries can handle 20+amps. 2) Obviously the mod will stop at 6 amps.
For just a little more, you can pick up a DNA or high watt box mod to go lower. These can be had from $65 to $100 from various sources. For a .32 build, you'd want a mech mod, an ohmmeter, and Sony VTC batteries (30+ amps)
Anytime you venture below 1 ohm, you should know the limits of your batteries, your coil(s), and your mod. Ohm's law!

the box has a 6amp limit you would have to go down to 2v to get it to fire and with 24ga it will take way to long to heat up, if the mod even goes down to 2 v.the dripper i used on my VV device was a 1.7 twisted 32 micro coil ona 5/64 and it put out alot of vapor and good flavor. Obviously its not the same as a 24ga subohm build but not slouch

My experience with the premade coils is don't waste your money. Just get a roll of 28g kanthal.

This.

I hate to say it, but I also feel you are wasting your money buying RDAs with your mod of choice.

If it can't fire low resistance and/or supply high voltage RDA performance will be very lacking.

A Kayfun type or similar would probably be a lot more appropriate.

If you insist on dripping then get a mechanical or DNA type mod.

I don't understand what you mean. If I install a 2.4 ohm coil into a RDA, wouldn't it be the same as me screwing on my Joye atty that runs 2.4 ohms?

I did see a mod with DNA in it's name this morning and saved it because I loved the looks:
