So I have a bit of a problem. Everytime I try to build a dual coil with 24g as opposed to 28g I get "shorted" on my Hana. Usually 4 to 6 wraps on what would be considered macro. The mod is a Hana, the atty's have been both the atomic and the Zenith v2. The leads aren't touching anything, the coils are suspended correctly, like everything is how it should be it just never works no matter how loose or tight my posts are. If it helps, another strange thing that happens is my Hana will read it at like 9 ohms or something crazy like that. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Btw right now I'm running 28g dual micros that ohm out at .6 and this is my go to build.

Ok you need to learn OHMs law. All rebuilders do. Also get an ohm meter at the very least. Better still a Volt ohm meter. You can damage a mod with low ohms. I don't like soap boxes but i promised to do this to someone. You also need to know battery safety especially if you use a mech. here is a tool you may like to use.Coil wrapping | Steam Engine | free vaping calculators

No I don't have an ohm meter. I assumed that I was too low. What can I wrap with 24 dual to make it around .4

First, as mentioned, get a meter, it's a small investment for the peace of mind.

24 gauge has awfully low resistance to wrap doubles on a regulated device, you could go with a single coil of the 24 or go with 28 gauge.

First please get a meter and read this
