I had bought this tank at my local store. I want to know what cartos I can buy for the tank in case I want to buy them online instead of in my local store. The tank is kind of short. Take a look at the picture and let me know. Thanks for the help!

edit: Also does anyone recognize what kind of tank this is?

Because of it's appearance (pyrex, colored o-rings, side juice fill screw) I would guess it is a Sidewinder Triple V pyrex tank from Valley View Vapes. Sidewinder 7ml Pyrex Tank To my knowledge, this is the only tank manufacturer that uses both pyrex tubes and a side juice fill hole.

These are pretty large tanks. 7 ml capacity. 1" in diameter, and 1 1/2" tall. Do they fit your tank's description?

According to the vendor, you would need to use a 45mm long cartomizer such as a Boge XL or a Smoktech tank replacement carto (available in both dual and single coils). If you need options for a vendor, there's a large list here from my Blog: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...nched-single-coil-cartomizers-cartotanks.html

Are you sure that is glass/pyrex and not polycarb?

There is a 4ml regular sized sidewinder, which should look fatter than this. Their polypro (and I guess poly carb, I don't have their poly carb but they will make them )tanks look think like an XL even though they aren't.
I've seen others make polycarb side screw tanks.
Measure the length of tank.

This is a polypro by Valley with caps instead of grommets. It's 35mm. (Regular not XL)

That looks like clear glass to me from the OP's picture, not frosted like polypropylene would look. But it could be polycarbonate, too. It's difficult to tell because of the poor image quality of the pics. I've not seen one of Ray's polycarbonate tanks as they are only special order items.

Here are images of the Valley View Sidewinder tanks. First is pyrex, second is polypropylene.

As NoleintheNati suggested, measure the length of the tank to know what length carto to use. That's all you really need to know.

This is where personal preference comes into play with vaping likes and dislikes. I have just the opposite experience as you. I don't get as much flavor from a clearo-style tank as I do from a cartomizer tank.

Not a fan of anything polycarbonate since I had a brand new clearomizer literally melt in my hands after I filled it with some new strawberry lemonade e-juice. Since then it has been only pyrex or polypropylene tanks for me. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/blogs/baditude/

Not a fan of the juice fill holes, either. I'm the type of person who manages to lose small things like those screws. I use a Slap Yo Moma tool, so I prefer to fill/refill my tanks using that tank tool. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AOhhasydESQ

Yes, that link is for a Boge pre-punched cartomizer. The drop down menu button allows you to choose the length that you need for your tank. Did you measure it yet?

You also will have an option to choose the resistance of the carto, either low resistance or standard resistance.

thanks for the help baditude your blog is very informative

i measured mine at 35mm

i've been using wick style tanks so far in my vaping so I wanted to try out something different thats why I bought this tank. Its vaping great for me but I'm just not sure if I'm getting as much flavor out of it as I'd like.

I will keep trying new things until I figure out what works best for me though. Had no idea what I was getting myself into when I started vaping :)

also: how can u tell the difference between a polycarbonate and polypropylene?
