What kinda Headphones Do you " ROCK "?

7Im a music NUT!!! and when it comes to my headphones theres no expections .. I Rock a pair of Sony MDR-XB700's * i bought sonys NEW MDR-XB1000's But they were beyond distorted... *

I also rock a personal amplifier for added volume / bass custome built using a peppermint altoilds box * bought off ebay * for like 25$ HOLY CRAP does that thing BOOM these headphones...

Im sorry but anyone who wants to compare there DRE or Ludacris headphones to mine will sorely be put to shame with or without my amp

I use Sony MDR-V6 headphones, which are the earlier version of the MDR-7506 headphones you see radio people wearing these days. Both are a studio standard among professionals. The transducers are supposed to be the same and the ear cups are interchangeable. They are easily good enough and have flat response to get great mixdowns in my home studio for playing just about anywhere, including car audio equipment (which is the ultimate test for tonal balance). If it sounds good in a high end car stereo, it will sound good most anywhere.

For Gaming, I use Creative Labs Sound Blaster Tactic 3D Alpha USB. They are good gaming headphones with decent positional surround audio.

I have a set of Grado SR80 headphones that I use for portable listening and occasional computer use.

When listening on my home system, I use a pair of AKG K240 mkIIs.
