Im reading around the forum and im having second thoughts about "lighting" up my mini platinum comming this monday or the day after.

I currently smoke 15 Orange kings, with no additives. They are 0,5 mg of nicotine so im guessing the 14 mg i ordered from totally wicked is a bit high?
But is that even a good brand to use, i want the safest liquid i can find, cost is not important. I would really like to avoid juice made in some chinese garage.
I really want to avoid a nic od, so ill take all the help i can get. So what should i get and what strength? Or should i get 0mg and face that it might not help me kick the nasty habbit of smoking analogs?

Im just looking for opinions, knowing that no one can make any promises.

The nic delivery in e-cigs isn't as much as real cigarettes. I noticed that right away, I started with 18mg liquid to replace the hand-made cigarettes I had been smoking that were probably in the 2mg range, and gradually moved up to 24 and 36 mg, and that was much better. your 14mg will probably be okay, just put it down if you start to feel sick. If it's too much, try 11mg, some sites list liquid at 6mg and 4mg (in North america, not sure about UK) It'll take time, and money of course but it's worth it in the end when you find "your" brand.....just like real cigarettes.

Totally Wick is an excellent brand (Jason has gone to great lengths to make sure it's one of the safest liquids on the market and has posted the test results on this forum). Sounds like you may be based in the UK. I've been using TW Liquid for months now and highly recommend it.
Im in Denmark, which also would explain my lousy spelling :p

So everything is import here, unless i buy 0 mg.
Thank you for putting my mind at ease.

I have not read any post here about liquid being mis-labeled so I think the chances of that are small.

Most e-cigs are shipped with some sample cartages with nic content of 0-11-16-18. That may not be the exact numbers but you get the idea. I recommend you try the 0 first and get the hang of vaping. Then move to the lowest strength. Wait an hour or so till you feel the urge to smoke and try it. If you have ever smoked a really strong cigarette before you know the light headed dizzy feeling it can create. Just go slow take a few puffs see how you feel, hold off any more e-puffing for awhile and see how you feel after half an hour.

I think the 14mg will be to high but I am a new e-smoker also. You may end up ordering something lower, I think all us newbie’s spend a little extra time and money getting started. If it is to strong you can eventually use it up mixing it with other flavors you try. I also drip something a little stronger for that first cig of the day.

I wanted to add
Like you I am concerned about what may be in the e-liquid. What I believe is my regular cigarettes contain deadly poison. They will kill me. It is a sobering fact.

Yes I want a high quality liquid, but I have already knowingly inhaled poison, so any e-liquid may be better then my analogs.

It just dawned on me, reading various posts about nicotine od and the symptoms.

That’s my hangover symptoms!

Often if I go drinking, I double my nicotine intake, sometimes I get 3 or 4 times what I’m used to. Hangovers seem to have gotten way worse as i get older, which I guess is natural, but maybe it also because I used to smoke a lot more and used stronger cigarettes. It could be my body could better handle the higher nic doses back then, because the intake wouldn’t be that much higher a night on the town. Makes sense to me anyway ;) Guess now I can just use some 0 mg now, to dull down the juice, thus being able to smoke loads more, when i occasionally drink, without increasing my nic intake. Sounds almost to good to be true....
Still don’t know where to get the 0 mg juice though.
