Well, all I can say is that it is definitely not oil of any kind, as oil is insoluble and unvapable in ejuice.
Whatever it is you do like in the JC juice, stick with it if it works for you. JC is considered to be a high quality juice vendor.
My vote is on the VG then. Im pretty sure they are 100%VG. Someone will chime in to tell u for sure though.
JC has 2 lines of juice. The Original line is PG based, and the Red Oak line is 100% VG based.
Hehe... I'm replying to you, although you asked Momo. I too love the taste of a certain vendor's juice (KBV). Doesn't matter how great a DIY recipe is, I doubt one could duplicate the base rich taste. Maybe I just don't have the right nic base and/or that certain special secret ingredient that some Vendors have...
Not all PG or VG is created equal. Both are held to USP standards, which I believe guarantees 95% purity. So the key question would be what is the other 5%. Different suppliers sell different supplies from different sources.
I guess you could compare VG to vegetable oil. Each bottle of veg oil is different from the next because the oils used are always from different sources. The veggies come from different farms with different soils and sun exposure. Then they are pressed and mixed with oils extracted from veggies from across the world. From there, they are blended with oils from other vegetables, and the proportion is never the same. One batch might be heavy on sunflower oil, whereas the next batch might be heavy on the corn oil. There is never any kind of consistency with it. It is whatever market price and market value dictate that day. Same thing applies to VG IMHO.
