What mech mod to get

Was gonna get the atom elite but heard too many complaints about the firing button getting really hot. So I'm back to square one.

Looking to spend around $200 bucks and don't really know what to get. Wanted a turtle ship v2 but am having a hard time finding one at a decent price.

What would you guys suggest?

Hammer mod is awesome but not bottom button. Gnome is great bottom button. Im 100% partial to my nemesis though

Your nemi is no slouch. Be careful of falling for the fashion of mech mods. It's not like you're going to see/feel a new level of performance over the nemi.

That said, the king is a nice mod. I also like the astro and the turtle ship (which you've noted). I've also seen some nice chi you's.

Not happy with the Nemi Bro? Why could that be Lol, the Panzer is dope AF cause it is Lol. Naw in all seriousness I would get a panzer black hawk. Depends on what you want, Authentic/Clone ya know? Panzer black hawk/Vanilla mod or that new one that came out with carbon fiber body, just to name some Authentics. If clones, Check out the Astro/ Caravela/ King. FT is carrying the Silver Panzer now and It's so tempting to get one, for a clone anyway it's a steal and if you like the looks you can get a real one. If not, You've got yourself a mech to use and beat on.

Stingray is awesome. Beautiful finish, super low voltage drop, shortest 18650 mode I've seen, huge silver plated battery contacts, and a magnetic fire button that is wonderful. No rattles and effortlessly adjusts for different batteries/attys. Every time I take it into a vape shop the employees (and some customers) all want to see and feel it. I've had multiple offers to sell it for $300+ afterward.

Plenty of good authentics in the classifieds and some great prices also. Not as hard to find as most think- you just need to know where to look.
If you're not tied to the bottom button idea, I recommend the Atmizoo Roller. Arguably the best button on the market and a stylish, well-performing mod.
For tubes with bottom buttons, you can't go wrong with a Gus or Paps, the former being a bit more accessible.

My first mech was a Magneto, and I still use it. It just works. Not my favorite anymore, but there's very little to complain about.

For 200? GP Paps lux. The end. Best switch ever. It literally ruined my Nemesis and Gus for me.

The Gus is close, similar design but longer throw and you can't set it down unlocked or the weight of most attys will cause it to fire. The GP Paps Lux, and the Paps SS for that matter, can be set down unlocked and they won't fire no matter what is on top. The lux switch almost feels like a touch sensor the throw is so short. The lux tube is aluminium bronze and even when it get a patina going is a thing of beauty. Also the contacts and button are 24k gold over silver plated brass.

My first and only mech is a panzer. just get the normal one the blackhawk is nothing special just a black coating to the normal one and the coating comes off over time. not worth the extra money if you ask me.
