I've been wondering exactly what advantage mechanical mods have. I understand they have less parts which makes them more dependable. I've heard of people using different gauges of wire for mechs. What's this for? Also can someone point me to a decently priced mechanical mod? I'm not ready to invest another $200 into a PV just yet.

KTS Telescopic Storm with Gold and Chrome FLAT TOP

Mechanical mods seem to be generally used for sum 1 ohm coil builds. That is why most mechs have a rebuildable on top. Make sure to use high drain batteries.

The mod listed is a cheap china clone but works very well out of the box, I have the slant top version of this mod but I will order 2 of these when I get funds, one to keep stock, and the other to change the finish on.

Oh I didn't even see that there when I looked at first. I might even settle for the Stealth. But why is all of their stuff ALWAYS out of stock? And I'd assume theres a big waiting list.

Limited production and high demand = out of stock, all the time.

(That's why I got a roller)

How impressed are you with cheaper mechs? I'm willing to go up to $100 although I might just wait a while and save up for something nice like a GG. Also where can I get a GGTS in the US?

i just ordered a MKB-TS but I'm saving for a higher end mech

but the one I have my eyes setup on is the Precise ELA, just charming

I have a couple cheap mechs that I use when I'm out and about. They work almost as well as my Zen2. I use the cheapies so if its stole or I loose it I am not out a bunch of money. They work as well as the higher priced units if you modify certain things.

I believe GG's are produced only a couple times a year. You have to stalk the GG official forum here for when the presale begins. Imeo usually gives a couple of days notice before a presale happens. Now as for a cheap mech I like the Drawtube for 50 bucks works great with a aga t at home and when I am out and about I put a terminator with low ohm coil on it. With a terminator setup the thing is a tank good for people who love to drop their mods.

The Chi-you just came back into production. If you want something nice for the budget price get The natural or sentinel, nzonic v3, galileo so much more but ill let you decide that. And plus mech mods makes this possible 20130617_171513.jpg =D Enjoy! Relax and Vape.

Is the roller available in the US? It seems the best equipment comes from Europe. And is always out of stock.
I have to disagree with that statement. You can pick up a puresmoker Legacy for about $85 usd. I've got three of them. As for the Super T ELA well mine should arrive around the last of August I hope. The Legacy is rock solid and made right here in the good old USA.

Seems we both have the same buying habits! I have 2 Legacy’s and my ELA is coming (I hope, I hope) in another month.

I also have a few of the China-made mechanicals and they are fun to fiddle with. Lots of entertainment value for little cash. But, when it you want it to work all the time, can’t beat a Legacy or anything from Super-T. Or a Silver Bullet, another USA-born device (albeit a semi-mechanical since it has a wired switch).
