What metal do they use for the protank 2?

I have an allergy to the metal Nickel. I get rashes whenever I have prolonged contact with anything made from nickel. I just got the protank 2 and I am trying to find what it's made from or if it has any nickel plating? Does anyone have a link or the info? Thanks.

It's Stainless Steel from what I know. correct me if I'm wrong. That's steel and chromium.

thats what i was thinking, cuz i'm usually good about checking that. I have no problems with my other v1 protanks. Just trying to cover my bases, don't wanna end up with a swollen lip looking like herpes. That kinda stuff doesn't fly at the bar, know what i mean.

I'd guess copper alloy. Then all they need do for a good chrome finish is to apply a layer of nickel and a flash of chrome.

I think the chinese sites are looking up metals in a chinese-to-english dictionary that is imperfect.
One place described it as "iron and glass" lol.
A lot of sites call it Stainless Steel. I am nearly positive it's chrome over brass.

I was told specifically by an AltSmoke salesman that it is indeed stainless steel. From what I can tell from just looking at mine that would be the case.

Chinese metal is mystery metal. Unless one has it analyzed, there's no telling. Each batch could even be different. Their standards for what can be called stainless steel are very relaxed.
