I was recently given two starter kits by a friend from a company called Emerald Lux. I'm trying to find parts for it, but I'm not positive what model it is. I've been looking around at pictures on the net and I think it is the RN4081, but I thought I would ask here before I ordered parts that might not work. Anyone know what model ecig Emerald Lux is selling?

Thanks for the feedback. The info I've found on this forum has been great!

I looked at their site too Emerald Lux | Electronic Cigarettes | E-Cig Accessories — Welcome. They don't say what it's compatible with but it could very well be an RN4081, but I'm not sure. Batteries and atty's aren't too expensive on their site and if that's what you need the I'd just order from there. The price of their cartridges is pretty high though so I'd look at just replacing the filler in the cart's you've got and buying some bottles of juice to refill them with. You can find polyfill at pet stores since it's used in aquarium filters.

Thanks for the responses guys. The reason I was trying to figure out the model is so I could get a cartomizer for it. The cartridges that come with it are very small and only hold about 5 or 6 drops of juice. I decided to risk it and ordered these RN4081 cartomizers from vaporkings.com. Got them today and they seem to work ok. The button on the inside of the battery end of the cartomizer is a little different than the one on my original atomizer, but it seems to be smoking ok. I got about 25 drops of juice in the carto, so I am expecting it to last a lot longer than the included cartridges.

Thanks again for the feedback guys. I haven't had an analog since christmas eve now, and it feels great. The Emerald Lux (apparently an RN4081) was pretty good for the first week, but I found myself wanting something better. I got my Defender from vapornine.com in the mail Friday and it has been awesome. Great battery life and great cartomizer life and a really nice throat hit. I wanted to try out the cartomizer on the RN4081 just so I could have it around when I feel like using the mini...out at the bar, hanging with my smoking friends, etc.

One more quick question. Since the RN4081 cartomizer I got works on my eCig, can I assume that I do in fact have an RN4081 or is that not necessarily a given?

I would assume so but there can be exceptions. The 510 threading is the same as the 306 but the atomizers have different designs. The 306 works on the 510, but when I tried a 510 atty on a 306 batt it wouldn't fire.

LR 306 atomizer
510 atomizer

That has not been my experience. I started off with a 306 and used 510 atomizers on it with no problem. The 510 threading is actually a little deeper than the 306 and the center post seems to stick out a hair more, so a 510 should have no problems at all making contact with a 306 battery. You must have had problems with either your atomizer or battery.
