After 8 months my Bartleby (510 box mod) is about to die and im looking for a replacement. I was looking at the Ego but i kinda like using stock batteries (i have so many 14500 and 18650 around now!). Ability to charge from usb would be nice but not a deal breaker. 510 connection is for sure! Im also a big fan of "kill switches", i always have it my pocket and hate missfires :p

So what would you guys suggest? Just get a box mod again (it works, what more can ya say!) or a ego or somthing else? I havnt really checked into all the new things popping up since i got the bartleby, ive been using kr cartomizers and 510s on it for a long time and havnt felt the need to look around, i guess i should have :p

If you're happy with the bart, stick with it. You're not going to find anything to replace it that is going to be as convenient, and certainly not for less money. Unless you require higher voltage, the bartleby is still the best thing going.

They claimed the bartleby is going to die... But on the other hand it's been 8 months, you can still probably send it back to him and he'll fix it right up. I know mine had a problem (wouldn't fire at all), and he said send it back to him and he'd fix it free of charge.

I'm more then happy with how long the bart lasted. Six months in the USB charger started to fail, it still charges but not to a full charge. Now a few months later both switches are going. Considering it's been my main, well only pv really for most of that time I dont really care to get cybervex to repair it, if we had a couple of standard batts last that long we would be over joyed!

I decided to get a riva, lr arty and some of the new cartos for now. Was really looking at getting one of the juice box mods I've seen, I think my next one will definatly be a juice box, by then some of the quirks will be worked out. I hope anyway!

Assume you've tried recharging with a regular charger than the Bart. Sometimes that is needed as pointed out in a recent post in the Bart thread. Knock on wood though for my Barts - all are stilll in good working order.
