Obviously a lot of people order from fasttech, but with the problems in shipping as of late I wanted to know are there other companies like that? I mean reasonably priced Chinese vendors in particular. If so what has been your experience with them?

I haven't ordered anything from them, but Health Cabin, one of the forum suppliers, has some good deals.
The shipping problems are more to do with the Postal service than FT in particular, if you want batteries from China then either;
a. Be prepared for a wait;
b. Buy locally
Or
c. Go for the expensive shipping options (which will reduce any savings)
I just ordered some batteries from FT but I am not in any rush if it takes 6 weeks, no problem.

If the products are in stock, Fasttech is relatively quick. It's the Hong Kong post office, the busiest post office in the world, that takes a long time. If you want something tomorrow, you're screwed. If you're willing to wait a while, order from Fasttech and then be super happy when it arrives. I love Fasttech and have learned patience.
Yes this thread is not to bash FT. I just wanted to know if there are other options. From what I understand the problem is not confined to FT. I ordered from them last week knowing it would take a while. Anything I need now, I get here.

There are others like FasTec out there, use your Google---- aside from long ship times, you may have to deal with an even longer wait if you receive a defective item or the wrong one. Health Cabin like someone said has good sales once in a while, I bought a SID from them for 30 bucks.
there are a few USA vendors keeping up with the off shore sites as far as prices and products go..... it is a trend that has made some very happy customers. what's not to like same product as cheep as FT but in your hands in days .... ok you pay some shipping, but you benefit from fast delivery and good product.
And that's what I'm looking for. My intention was never to bash FT. I've heard nothing but great things albeitu slow. As far as googling for suppliers, have you actally done that? The number of results is staggering. It would take months just to go through all of the sites, most of which have very few products at not so great prices.
Unless you're going to use a US based operation, it doesn't matter much about shipping times between the various Chinese companies. It's not the companies that are the problem, it's their mail/customs systems that are slowing it down.
Yes I have said that as have others. Faster shipping is not what I was looking for. I was just wanting other options to look at for products. While FT is great about some things there are some items that can be had just as cheaply(or almost) from US vendors.

I google a lot, with specific terms - like ecig retailers china - and narrow it down some more, like a certain product I am looking for..
If I find a source, I would google that source only for comments made about it..
and I do as you, ask here first ! - most times I get a recommended source. But with sites poping up all over the place, everything can't be here. I like to find deals on expensive items, and they are not always easy to find..

I thought Google was a good way of looking for ecigs, every time I've been screwed, I used a supplier that wasn't listed on this forum. When it comes to ecigs, Google is not your friend.
I used Health Cabin a few months ago - they had a killer deal on evods at the time. The tanks and heads have worked perfectly. They do offer expedited shipping, though it can be kinda spendy.

Very cool, I enjoy just looking at what is out there. Most of those I had not heard of. Thank you. I am sure I am not the only one who would like to see what options there are. Also you can learn a lot by looking at stuff you might not see otherwise.
