You know I thought when I finished college I was done studying and doing a lot of research and then I started vaping. I'm 5 weeks in and it seems like I have more questions than answers. But I digress. I think I've got enough equipment for a while, I better cuz my credit card is taking a beating, so now I'm learning about what flavors of juice I like and I hadn't really considered ratio. At this point I've just taken whatever ratio was offered but then I started looking at Mt Baker and it gives the option of ratio. I have no idea what ratio I like so market some juice in the ratio you like.
What ratio PG/VG do you use and why?

80PG/20VG is very common....good throat hit cuz of the 80PG..and good vapor and flavor cuz of the 20VG
higher PG = better throat hit

Well i dont care about the cloud but do like a thinner and less oily liquid so i prefer at least 60% pg or more.

PG gives more throat hit and is thinner. VG throws off more vapor and is thicker. I mix at 50/50. Not to thin, not to thick. Wicks good no matter what I'm vaping with and good vapor production.
70/30 because that was what the B&M said to try. I've stuck with it. PG carries the flavor and TH and VG carries the plume.
If you have the opportunity to visit a local shop, they may have a sampling bar to see what you like best. Flavors and ratios. I used to get 70/30 juices but they didn't seem to have the vapor I was looking for. I tried a 50/50 blend and it gives me the best of both worlds. JMO.
50pg / 50vg mostly, IMO best balance of flavor TH & vapor.

30/70 I chain vape and any more that 30 PG will give me a wicked sore throat in the AM. I love the cloud and smoothness the VG offers.
I would say 70/30 is pretty common for store bought juice. I DIY and make my juice anywhere from 65/35 to 40/60 (PG/VG) depending on recipe and my mood at the time.

I like a 90/10 vg/pg mix it gives me a bit of flavor with no throat hit and I can push clouds. There is something psychologically connected to exhaling a plume to keep me off the analogs.

Thank you all for the responses. Based on what I read I think I want more VG as I like flavor and to throw a cloud and I don't care for too much throat hit as I have gotten a little choked up after vaping a lot.
I'm all over the place concerning ratios! It's usually a 50/50, but some of my favs are 100vg. I get juice that's 60pg/40vg from others, reduced pg as well. I'm not overly picky with the ratio, just the flavor!
I vape 50/50 cuz' it's just a well balanced ratio and gives good flavor and vapor.
I use 20PG, 80VG. I'm a cloud chaser, and a higher VG ratio allows for more vapor production and less throat hit.
It seems a lot of vapers prefer more VG if offered. I'm don't care for throat hit so I go high VG, low nic.
