I've chosen to wait and save up for the provari. That being said, I wanted variable voltage and didn't want an analog control (like the Buzz Pro). That pretty much left the lavatube and the provari, and I read too many testimonials of provari owners saying they bought a lavatube first and wish they hadn't.

trying the ego twist in a couple of days...getting plenty of favourable reviews, portable vv

I think you'll find that when you figure in everything, the difference is more like $50-75.
The Bolt doesn't compare to the Silver Bullet. A Lavatube is closer to a Provari than a Bolt is to a Silver Bullet. For the $40 or so difference, it's not even worth considering. Frankly, the Bolt is an insult to the Silver Bullet.

I own a Bolt and find it to work exceptional for the price. I haven't tried 6v with it and probably won't nor would I waste a product like The Kick on it but as a 5v or 3.7v mod @ 39 bucks and the extension so 49.00 you have a pretty decent 5v PV. I paid a little extra for my bolt because nobody except one vendor had the extension for the gunmetal grey one when I bought it, but the customer service made up for the price plus I got the one I wanted. I do not YET own a silver bullet, I have to email Altsmoke, I kind of want a colored button instead of a black one. I believe that saying the Bolt is an insult to the silver bullet is a little harsh because this device will in the end lead a person to the SB. Or the person may find out at a reasonable price and not a terrible loss of funds that they do not like tube mods. IMHO the Bolt is not mind blowing by any means, but if a person wanted a 3.7v or 5v device in a decent price range this would be the one, but I wouldn't go 6v or 7.4v as advertised because the wiring (from what I've read on here and other places) is so thin.
