Confused about lavatube versions

OK, so mod prices at

seem too good to ignore, but I get confused between all the versions available.

What is the latest version of the lavatube - is this the best version?

Seems like a dumb question but the more I try to get this sort of info the harder it gets, the more sources contradict each other etc.

It would seem the v4 and what not have less secure buttons than the 2.0 and things like this... are they all genuine lavatubes?

Sorry for the total noob topic but I'm just so confused!

Officially the LT is a Vocano ecigs product, when they came out with the first version it was quickly sold by other vendors under different names and other manufacturers copied them, often times making modifications and giving them different version numbers. I haven't kept up with all that, too many variations to keep up with for me. The official version from volcano are the original V1, V1.5(Chrome), and the latest, V2 which seems to me to be a decent improvement to the others. There never was an official mini version. I know all this is just a bunch of hot air to you because I have'nt come close to answering your question, and I'm not able to.
Just thought I'd give you a little bit of an idea as to why it all seems so convoluted. Hopefully someone else can give you some real advice.:D

That site's covered with the kind of marketing typical of a lot of Chinese suppliers: i.e., total B.S. It's pretty obviously an offshore company and I wouldn't believe everything you read there.

And no, they are surely not "genuine Lavatubes," since those are sold only by Volcano. They may be the same hardware, but they're not Lavatubes.

after comparing prices and functions of clones and the genuine article, my head is exploding.

Looking at just getting an ego-c improved 900-1100mAh because through all the conflicting info I see, the only thing that is for sure is that the genuine article is pretty darn good. Unless someone can steer me toward a very good knockoff I will end up with that ego battery or maybe a genuine lavatube v2.

Good knockoffs anyone?

i would just pass on the lavatubes they were great in there time but there is much better out there now and for less
get yourself a Zmax or if your on a tighter budget a Vamo.

as far as that site goes i would not order anything from them they have kuts there called "provari""lavatube" etc. yet they would not be able to sell any of those as they are only sold on there respective sites. also they are likely overseas i made the mistake of ordering batterys for my mods from a similar site and didnt recive them for almost two months and when i did they were total knockoffs and didnt work very well and got tossed.
so it was a waist of time and money and now a company that rips people off has my creadit card info on file.....
