The important thing is to get one that's accurate to .01g
This is the one I, and many others have.
AWS LB-501
Thanks Rule, that one is out of stock right now on Amazon. The one I have been looking at has the same features, unless there is a feature I am overlooking I think they are about the same?

I would definitely want the AC power option. My LB-501 doesn't even have batteries in it. It stays plugged in all the time. That would not be a deal breaker, but (for me at least) a 100g maximum would be unacceptable. When you tare a scale the weight of the container and any previously added ingredients is still part of the total weight capacity even though the display reads zero. For example, if your scale is 100g maximum and you have a glass bottle that weighs 60g you can only add 40g of ingredients before you hit the maximum.

Thanks guys for all the great info, I think I am going with the cheaper option for nowhttps://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N3YBQY1?psc=1 later I may step up to a better scale but I think for starting out this will be good enough.

That (or one of its many clones on Amazon) is what I used for 2 years, and it worked well, including never needing a battery change. I'm going to replace it now because the weigh platform is apparently held on by some kind of sticky tape/pads, that have become unsticky now. The weighing platform originally came loose after being played with by a ~30 year old man, so it wasn't just ordinary wear.

I'm probably going to move up to the https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B005UGB...lid=3KI5FM6N5DJ1K&coliid=I3IK88MJ5EDGCF&psc=1 that has also been mentioned, since I also bake by weight and it would work better for that, but I've also been looking for one that has a USB charging option, since I have way more USB ports on existing hubs/charging stations than I do reachable 120 outlets.

I have this one and love it, it was recommended by my local vape shop that was helping to teach me DIY. I'm actually looking to upgrade this one to a 1000g scale for higher quantiity batches but don't want to break the bank, if anyone has any suggestions I'm all ears :)

    https://www.amazon.com/Tree-KHR500-...-fkmr0&keywords=tree+500g+.01+precision+scale

I've never seen one that is both 1000 gram and measures to .01 gram. And I think the https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B005UGB...lid=3KI5FM6N5DJ1K&coliid=I3IK88MJ5EDGCF&psc=1 is about the same as the one you linked for less than half the price - though not as pretty. As said above I'm shopping for a new scale and I think I've looked at most of the Amazon possibilities now.

Thanks for the recommendation, I have been using a smaller one that I own that only goes ug to 20 gr. and is really acurate that I use to make my herb and vitamin capsules. And I have a larger baking scale, but I think this will make a decent in between scale for my e liquids. Even if it only lasts 2 years it is good enough, I seem to have other things that need my money right now like my pool needing replastering after a resent mishap and a few other things. Thank you.
