I've been following your experience with vaping and I'm very glad you were able to make it work for you.

The ability to overcome is within us.

Thanks... and I agree; I think it has more to do with how much you want it, than anything else. I was determined, once I learned about vaping, to make this work for me, since nothing else has ever worked for quitting smoking and staying that way. I am so delighted to finally be smoke-free, I can barely contain myself! :D Everytime it occurs to me again that I don't smoke anymore, I feel like doing this:

My main gifts had nothing to do with vaping -- the clothes, and that awesome new TV from my folks, and the computer speakers we bought today as my gift from my husband -- but just now, with my xmas money, I was able to make a $25 order from sweet-vapes, and a $10 order from ecigexpress, and sometime in the next week, probably about a $10 order from bullcity. And while we were out earlier, buying those speakers, it occurred to me all over again how great it was to be able to just drive right past every Walgreen's we see, instead of having to beat a path there every other day for cigarettes. :D Got better things to spend my money on! :D

From my wife, my mom, brother and myself, I got the YiHi SX Mini mod, 50w SX Zero, ErlK nano clone, Aqua V2 OEM, 360ML of juice, 55" LED tv, wireless keyboard/multitouch pad for the TV, bunch of clothing, Samsung 840 Evo 1tb SSD and 27" LED monitor (cant believe my bro bought me that), some various smaller items. I *really* got spoiled this year for some reason, I may be dying and they dont want to tell me or something.

I got an MVP 2.0 and an Aspire Nautilus Mini :vapor: Not the newest or the most expensive, to be sure, but an ugrade from my old annoying collection of ego batteries and lime green Evod glass tank! LOL! I killed the 2 1.8 ohm coils within days....watched a youtube vid on how to prepare the bvc coils and take care of the Nauty as I obviously had no earthly idea what I was doing. I actually killed the coils with q tips! the screen came off, stuck to the end ot the q tip...not death by high wattage or voltage. My vanilla ejuice can't seem to take higher than 8 watts even with the Mini....Don't need the MVP 3.0 I can't even make it to 9.5 watts without burnt taste  even with bvc coils. Hope everyone had a great holiday! :) I know it's not THAT exciting but it's new to ME :p

Thanks! :) I've been good and yourself?

    Doing great thanks :)
Nice to see you again. Haven't seen you on the forum in a while and I was just thinking about you a couple of days ago.
Was wondering if you were still ok. No more hospital trips then?
Saw your name pop up so I had to check and see how you're doing :D

Out of curiosity where did you get the erlk clone? I have only been able to find them on eBay and fastech. Those are my favorite. I have a ton of them now. Lol

My first in 39 yrs. And in the entire year of 2014, I was a smoker for only 3 of 12 months. When I came here my plan was to quit smoking completely by the end of the year -- and by the end of the year, I'll be a week past 5 months smoke-free.

I like how vaping screws with that very notion of quitting smoking as a New Year's resolution. Quitting just sorta... happens with no "pick a quit date" required. :)

I know, it's weird; I had decided "by the end of 2014" and actually quit by the end of February! :D But then I had that trouble in the summer with the appendix and the awful cravings, so it's just as well I gave myself the whole year, or I'd have REALLY been mad at myself this summer! But it just meant starting my "smoke-free count" over again. When I get to my "ECF Veteran" date (Jan 24), I'll be about 6 months smoke-free! :thumb:

And I just ran into another vaper "in the wild" today; we were out looking at trucks, thinking about trading, and a guy in the parking lot saw me vaping so naturally we struck up a conversation about how great it is to be free of cigarettes! :D And all that waiting they make you do when you get to the paperwork... stealth vaping really comes in handy. :D I discovered I could bend over, take a hit, and just hold it in, and nothing came out my nose at all. Everyday I find something new to love about vaping. :D
