Got myself a Joye stick v3 from HG about a week ago, and so far i love it =]
Have not had a real cig since!
Based on some video reviews by member "badanswer", i ordered myself some pg/vg blended juice from Mrs T's bakery.

Im running into some issues though...
The standard foam that came with the cartridges is starting to stiffen up really fast, and i feel like its not delivering/dispersing the e-juice like it should. Its just not as squishy as it used to be..
As they are hardening it feels like its harder to take a drag off the device, i feel like i REALLY have to drag on it to get a good hit.

I also find myself guessing how many drips is enough to fill up the cartridges every time, leading to liquid drops forming on the outside of the cart.

My main question is: Can you guys recommend some stuff for me to buy?
some replacement foam, possibly a different battery, different carts, different atty, etc?

I willing to spend w/e it takes at this point to get the best performance out of the stick.

Thanks guys!

You can replace the original filler with a blue foam available at most pet stores. It is Marineland, Rite size "U". It is actually an aquarium filter sleeve. I used that and it works pretty well, better than the original filler. Lasts longer and wicks better. I bought mine at Petsmart.

Don't just get the first blue foam you see, it needs to be the Marineland Rite size "U". Wash it in warm soapy water, rinse it good, let it dry, and cut it to size.

I use the BE112 attys and cartridges in my Stick, you can get them at BestEcig, just remember to use EMS shipping and it'll show up in about a week. I only fill my carts about three times then toss them, I order the 10x 5 pk of carts and 200ml of juice and it lasts me a while. I also use a syringe to fill mine, this style of cart holds about 1.2ml of juice and using a syringe to fill from the bottom up gets rid of air bubbles.

Wait - do you mean

cartridge (aka cart) that pushes on an atomizer and the atomizer screws to the battery/box
or
cartomizer (aka carto) a combined cart and atomizer in one piece that holds juice and screws onto the battery/box?

I think Joye Stick is 801 threaded?

atomizers can degrade, need cleaning, die

cart lasts forever - put new stuffing in it - a particular blue foam is a good stuffing if the cart is not too big to make an effective plug

cartomizers - limited lifespan, disposable (few succeed at cleaning and drying them). To get the longest good performance out of a cartomizer I use thin juices (I use 20% VG or less) with juices that leave little or no sediment (typically light clear juices). I can usually get a week's use out of one cartomizer. I do not try to clean them. I start a new cartomizer. Thicker juices and juices with flavoring sediment clog the stuffing of a carto and make it sluggish to drag and wick. Sediment will also clog atomizers and make them need cleaning more quickly. I only vape thick juices on a manual battery with an atomizer and drip tip.

I dont want to make a new thread to ask more questions, so i will post here hoping to get answers.
Thanks for all the advice this far.

Im finding that the vapor production on my 302 atty is quickly dwindling, so im going to order some of that ice-machine cleaner that was recommended in another post to clean it.
Should this improve my vapor production?

However, i really want to give clearomizers a try. My only issue is that i can only find them for 501 attys.
My vapor store sells a 302 to 501 adapter but they have been out of stock for a while now. Is there somewhere else i can get one?

I also wanted to try a double coil atty, but those are also only for 501.
Anyone have any experience with the 302 to 501 adapter?
