Welcome Indigo!
I have both the VV3 and the MVP2 (o.k., I'll admit - 2 of each, along with various tanks and LOTS of juices.) I spent a lot of money up front because I didn't make it to ECF early enough in my quest. If I had to do it again (and I started with cig-a-likes), I would have skipped a couple of my starter kits and gone straight to at least the VV3. I love the battery life of the MVP2, but both the VV3 and the MVP2 have pass-throughs, so you can charge while
vaping. I have a set of EVOD tanks, a Kanger Mini ProTank 2, and a few Smok Aro (Pyrex) tanks. I ended up with the latter tanks because one of my EVOD tanks cracked the first time I used it (certain e-juices can deteriorate/destroy polycarbonate tanks.) The MVP2 is a heavier unit (like I'm doing 12-oz curls ALL THE TIME

), so if you're concerned about the "heft" of the MVP, definitely go with the VV3 - you WON'T be disappointed.
You may "play games" until you find the tanks of your liking - everyone's tastes are different. You will likely play games with juices as well. Mt Baker is pretty good and relatively inexpensive. I've heard some good things about Lucky7 too.
Good luck in your journey.
