so I've been using my blu for a while, decided I wanna upgrade, got some advice to go with a RIVA 510 carto deluxe..any advice if this is a good idea? will I be happy with a RIVA? where's a good place to buy a RIVA 510 with fast and reliable shipping? most important.. does is use cartomizers of separate atomizers and carts cuz I'm really not looking to deal with the hassle of 3 pieces. thank you

Liberty Flights usually has the best deal on them, be sure to click the 20% off link at the top of the page.

You can use cartomizers or atomizer + cart with it, anything 510 threaded and it'll work with Ego specific stuff.

I think you'll like the Riva much better. It's a little bigger but longer battery life and cartos that hold more will make life much easier.

Riva is a GREAT pre-mod choice. THE BEST riva setup I've found, and I've tried quite a bit, is Riva + resurrector cartomizer.

Pickup the following
from liberty-flights.com (click 20% discount in upper left):
riva lite kit - $29.99

From crystalclearvaping.com
15 pack Resurrector cartomizers - 21.50 (+free shipping + free driptip)

You can use the driptip to try dripping onto atomizers that come with the riva kit if you want, but you mentioned you want cartomizers. Definitely go with the resurrectors (+use a driptip on them too).

Resurrectors are 1.7 ohm and hold ~2ml of juice.

You'll also save money over blu, I calculated my vaping cost using resurrector + juice recently and it came out to ~$10 a week.

you can get the carto deluxe bundle at Liberty-Flights (instead of the riva lite bundle).. that will get you a pack of 5 cartos instead of the attys. If you get the attys you either have to drip or use cartridges, and dripping with the supplied riva attys wasn't a very pleasureable experience for me.

CCV is the best place to get cartos for it but if you go ahead and get the carto deluxe bundle you'll be able to start with cartos and skip the atomizers altogether. (and don't forget to click the 20%!)

...my main reason to recommend the Lite kit Vs the Carto delux kit are the atomizers, which will allow you to try different flavors without filling a carto...of course, you will need a drip tip for this but, you get two of them with the (15)carto bundle from CCV...plus the lite kit comes with the 120vac/USB wall adapter, which the Carto kit does not...but it does come with a nice carry case...as always with such things, the choice is yours.........
