Diane I am a "newbie" too (3 months) but I've finally found a system that I TRULY DO LOVE...(this is my personal preference and might not be the best for you). I bought the Ego-T but hated that tank system, the atomizers didn't last me 3 days. Love the 1100 mah Ego batteries though (regulated 3.4 volts) and also the KGO 1100mah batteries (non-regulated so start off at 4.2 and die off at 3.2 volts). What I use with both of these batteries, is the "Clear Ego Mega Dual Coil Cartomizers, FlatTip " sold at madvapes for $2.79 apiece. I can clean them out and re-use them multiple times... about 8x each at least.

And so... why do I love them?

First off, they are clear so I can SEE how much juice is left...when I fill them up, I can SEE whether I need to do a quick "taryn spin" to get them filled evenly. I prefer 80PG/20VG liquids but even with higher VG (i.e. thicker) juices, I can spin and get the liquids evenly distributed with very little effort. These cartos honestly clean out very easily under the running faucet... rinse them clear, spin dry and let them sit for a day.

I have noticed that they all seem to work/taste a whole lot better if I fill them and then let them sit for a bit (12 hours+) before vaping. They will work OK newly filled, but if I wait a day... PLUMES OF VAPOR...! Maybe because the liquid has had time to evaporate a bit? (Honestly not sure, but that is now my regular regime)

One fill-up lasts me two whole days. If I'm vaping really heavily, a few drops of additional juice maybe. And the 1100mah batteries, last me one full day. So it's not a lot of fussing and I really like that part.

These cartos have been serving me very well with even as thick as 50/50 liquids. I like them so much, that I bought a bulk order of 100 pieces (if that tells ya anything)...:p

I think the ego twist is a great bargin for a VV device. They have great products and many manufacturers are making accessories made for the ego line of batteries. The twist is a great way to try VV vaping without the big investment of a provari style PV.

I have an EgoC Twist, and you are right, it is great in comparison with the standard EgoC batteries. But, the twist seems to have limitations too. For example, I was at the vape store recently trying out some tank/carto combinations and found that the standard resistance cartos wouldnt even fire from the twist, even at the 4.8 volt setting. switched to a low resistance carto and it did fire..quite well in fact. But, I was warned not to go past the 3.8 volt setting or I would likely damage either the carto or the battery (not sure if this is really true, but I don't want to take the chance). I think I like the idea of being able to use the full range of voltage settings (with a suitable carto of course) and don't think I will be able to do this with the twist. That said, for the price I paid for the twist, I'm very happy with it.

Just like the lavatube, I can't recommend models that have limitations on what you can vape on it. Just don't see the point when there are plenty of models without these limitations.
