I've been vaping since the end of January. Still using my first device, the itastevv.
My problem is that I developed serious vape tongue, which makes everything frustrating. I currently use the Aspire BDC toppers...but still get very muted flavor. Started using a simple dripper, from Kidney Puncher, which gives me back my flavor, but it's not the most convenient method, and of course, impossible for out-and-about.
I'm in my 60s, have nobody to advise me, and want to keep things SIMPLE. What should I move to that would give me the flavor of the dripper but be a tidier system? As a sewing/crafter hobbyist, I am sure I could do some of the coiling-rebuilding stuff, but again, I'd like to keep things simple. I don't mind spending money if necessary to get a really good system, but I'd rather not get deeply into electrical theory. And clouds don't matter to me, just taste.
Thanks to you vets who have helped me in the past.

I WISH I was 60 and Hello again young lady :) Your major concerns bolded above is my opportunity!

One word -------> REO :)

My post from our other thread which I will enhance just for you:

Food for thought and yet another option. :) given your "kinda small"

I use a REO Mini 2.1 for my dedicated out and about device. See my thread for questions and pics:

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/reos-mods/552502-my-first-reo-thoughts-questions.html

The REO Grand might also be worth exploring.

This is a mechanical. A sqonker via a bottom feed atty. Pluses:

Built like a Sherman tank
Fits in the palm of my hand
Light
Turn the fire button to lock
Atty does not leak
Great flavor and vapor which requires a little o ring tweak to the RM2 (RBA/atty) which is easy to do and well documented
Easy peasy builds
Great support via the ECF Forum at Reos Mods and the mother ship at reosmods.com

Could be minuses. Depends on how you use the Mini with some info on it's big brother the Grand

Only holds 3ML in the bottle. The Grand holds 6ML
The Mini uses 18490 Bats. The grand uses 18650
NOT cheap
Non regulated device. No "Kick" in current models.

BTW, I also own "conventional" Mechanicals and a gaggle of ProVaris plus Kayfuns and other RDAs but IMHO, none are as well suited for an out and about device as my REO Mini.

HTH

:)

EDITED

Penny tweaks:

Large color selections in either the Mini or Grand
Purse friendly
Almost all the flavor of a conventional dripper without the never ending drip drip drip
Non regulated can be mitigated with a fresh battery or you may not even notice it. Just depends
The "build" is far more forgiving and easier to accomplish as compared to a Kayfun. Thus a really short and easy learning curve
The marvelous "simplicity" of this device (Mini or Grand + the atty aka RM2 aka Reomizer) is a compelling feature.
Over in our AHL thread where the "flavor chasers" hang out /lol you will find a number of folks who use a REO

EDIT: You will also need batteries and a charger. Please do not cut corners and only purchase from reliable vendors who sell real deal quality bats and chargers. Lots of counterfeit stuff around which you should avoid.

Good luck and HTH

:)
